so guys, don't relax, keep building nodes Smiley

Is ur bandwidth limited to 100 Mb/s? I've seen 200 Mb/s to my node. I'm thinking about checking if these zombies can eat 10 Gb/s but don't have time to set up load balancer atm.

Yeah, capped at 100 mb/s. I might order a server with 1 gb/s to experiment.

We don't support "official" client anymore. Someone should create alt-clients.

Is that means transactions can be encrypted in client? no need to send secret phrase to server node?

True

I am making a Nxt client for android
https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,797.0.html

Now i want to preprare for next version about 'encrypt transactions in client', transpant mining, colored coin etc.
Can you give me more information about those new features, or a test program of next version?
Once the new version of nxt release, i want to implement those new features into android client as soon as possible.
Sorry for my poor English.

I PM you.

I was always curious how u type these weird hieroglyphs, do u have a special keyboard with 5000 keys?

It's all based on pinyin, each hieroglyph is both a syllable and a certain meaning. Syllable pronunciation is typed using latin characters, for example, you type 'bi', that stands for 币 - currency, money. Because many hieroglyphs sound about the same, the computer gives you a list of similar sounding for 'bi' and you choose which one to use.

It'll be hell on the network if every time a new release come out all the major nodes go down within 5 min of it coming out.

+1

The nodes probably won't go down because of difefrent timezones of maintainers of the major nodes, they will all upgrade when they aren't asleep. It's just while it's alpha, all updates are mandatory Smiley Later it shouldn't be needed to rush so quickly, mandatory upgrades are not that frequent when software is more or less stable.

Has anyone else had this problem? I can't register alias names, and I don't seem to be able to forge either (the timer ticks down but i never get any blocks, and I've got a good sized balance - over 10 million).

Put "3" into "communicationLoggingMask" in web.xml. Try to send a transaction. Send the log to me, I'll check what is wrong.

I'm running the latest version of NXT. I open my account using localhost in my browser. I can see from the block explorer that my NXT client is up to date, but every time I try to send NXT to another account the transaction does not work, but the client 'send' confirmation does pop-up. The transaction does not appear in my transaction history as a fail - it just doesn't appear anywhere. I've tried to register alias names using localhost, and they always fail too.

It looks like I can receive blocks from the network (my client is up to date), but my client can't send transactions out to the network. What am I doing wrong? Could this be a firewall problem (i'm using Windows 7 and google chrome).

Is there a setting in web.xml that might be blocking my send transactions, even though I can still receive blocks?
Thanks for any help! I've been trying things for days now and I'm very frustrated Sad

This can be coz of incorrect time. If u send a transaction that's more than 15 sec in future then it's rejected.

My time is good (synchronised with microsoft time). I've had this problem with every version so it must be a problem with java or network or firewall/anti-virus etc. I've tried everything I can think of but nothing fixes the problem. I have been using public nodes to send NXT, but i'm not comfortable doing that now since people identified that pass phrases are kept in RAM, so are vulnerable to being hacked.

Peercover to add NXT to Simple Gateway so that NXT may trade on the Ripple protocol alongside BTC/LTC/USD.
