Yeah! I hate ShroomsKit!
Does those guys yelling "NXT is dead" that there is someone willing to buy 7M (+1M) nxt here?:

what did the trap do?

Lets to do 51% attack even with 1% of the stake.

Sounds interesting.

So the traps require external influence, and are not automatic from the software?  In that case, anyone doing something detrimental may backfire on NXT

Not automatic. I detected one such attempt against Nxt a couple of months ago. But BCNext made Nxt resistant to such attacks, so don't worry.

Free? You have to send NXT and then you get a share of NAS according to how much NXT you've sent vs how much everyone else sent?

Tbh this seems like the most unoriginal NXT clone yet. Even NEX is better, at least it has some friction.

I must have read something wrong about the first 25 pages then...  lol    Grin

Smiley nevermind. The blue fcuking text.

Since I did some forging on test net after testing non-unique asset names, my node generated blocks with such assets, that are being rejected by all other nodes running older code, so we have a fork on test net. It would be interesting to see how this gets resolved once the test nodes are one by one updated to 0.8.11.

I anticipate the big crunch. Glad I'm in NAS now Grin

Probably a good reason to not "rush into releasing AE on main net".

That guy triggered one of the traps. It's sad that people paid money for coins that will become useless...

I´ve provided an address. Let´s see if he will be able to send some coins to it Smiley

I liked your little quiz, but I also want to bring https://www.peerexplorer.com under attention, the caches are running low and the node-runners (not to confuse with roadrunners) are getting less and less rewards for running their nodes.

Not directly meaning you @chanc3r, but maybe a few stakeholders can motivate some node-runners with extra caches?  (y) Smiley
Does this work with no-ip (etc) or only for ip addresses?

...

Im going to just stop responding to you.  You give zero justification or method of application for your proposals.  And I dont believe you are thinking things through. For example, what if power costs are different at different locations?  Should people charge different fees then?  In the NXT application, different forgers charging different fees is simply ludicrous, and will break instant transactions.

Fun!

edit: As always: Thanks a lot, Jean. Let's see where the non-unique assets bring us...

edit: Oh, I get it. Sockpuppets. No one paid. Yet.

Release 0.8.11

http://download.nxtcrypto.org/nxt-client-0.8.11.zip

Change log:

Allow non-unique asset names.

Added getAssetsByName API call returning a list of all assets
with given assetName.

Added getAllTrades API call returning all trades starting from
a given timestamp (contributed by Antanst).

Improved the JSON responses for several API calls:
getAsset now also returns numberOfTrades. getAccount now also
returns unconfirmedBalance. broadcastTransaction now also returns
transaction hash. getAsk/BidOrder now also returns order height.
Performance of getTrades should be greatly improved, and it also
returns block id for each trade.

Explicitly stop all jetty servers when Nxt.shutdown() is called.

Escape text inserted as peer software or peer announced address
in the NRS client html, to prevent cross-site scripting and
related attacks by malicious peers.

Now that Crypto.sign() never produces bad signatures, no need
for additional call to verify() after block sign, or for
multiple transaction sign attempts.
