@CfB

what is the API for generating a website token? It is not on the wiki, but it must exist as the NRS has the "key" functioning

OK, so someone should start a wiki section for this, and proposals should be sent to .... for review?

Maybe. No One Above Us to tell what to do.

How hard would this be to implement?

It will be wise to fix this now before what happened to mtgox and silkroad 2.0 repeats again with Nxt.

I'm always available, tho, to stand beside you and tell you what to do in a rush of hot air coming out of my big mouth.   Cool

When is the video final, what I put up on the beta page? www.mynxt.org/beta
I think we need this as soon as possible to launch the new site and put it on major NXT sites.

The big deal here is they are planning on integrating merchant tools with their coin/usd pairs. Let's let them know we're interested in adding Nxt.

CaVirtex

I just heard back from CaVirtex (thank you everyone that helped with prior swarms that put us on their radar)

"Hello John,

Thanks for the message. We're carefully considering what pairs we will add moving forward. We have big plans, and we are certainly going to evaluate Nxt before making a decision on what to implement next.

Thanks again,

Wes"

Could you possibly expose the org.eclipse.jetty.server.Server instance in nxt.Peers (make it a public static). Use case is to register a LifeCycle.Listener with it.

Thanks.

I thought I read you were working on fixing this, how is it progressing? Or is it still todo?

We were going to test NIP workflow. The test failed.

What does NIP mean? What's the next step?

Nxt Improvement Proposal. This is how Bitcoin guys do it - https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Bitcoin_Improvement_Proposals

I'm not registered there.

Whoever runs the wiki, can you remove the registration requirement?

Not possible.
We had problems with spammers and people destroying articles and the normal registration requirements were not useful because the wiki wouldn't allow certain links to be included in translated articles.

This is the solution that joefox chose which works.

It's not perfect, but allows us all to do what needs to be done with minor effort (registering and sending a message to joefox)

You forgot this feature:

NXT comes with a  built in  hitman  Cool

 Grin

Mario, you really should make a note that all of these features are still not implemented at all. Except TF, which is still very incomplete

For me the correct start.bat file is:

"c:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe"  -Xmx1024M -cp nxt.jar;lib\*;conf nxt.Nxt

+1 ,Ty!!

Well, the cmd worked, but i get SSL connection error when opening https://localhost:7875/

Just use http://localhost:7848 instead

Didnt work with that,i finally ran it with http://127.0.0.1:7875/
Is it fine and safe?I like following all the thread, but i have no idea of programming.

You should be fine. You are communicating with your own local computer.
