Developer help needed

Anyone fluent in Delphi/Pascal and either C++, Java or C# would be willing to port Curve25519 to Pascal?

Here is a java implementation: https://code.google.com/p/curve25519-java/
And here is a C# implementation: https://github.com/hanswolff/curve25519/blob/master/Curve25519/Curve25519.cs
Don't have the C++ implementation at hands, but was discussed here in the thread.

I would greatly appreciate if somebody could help me out with this!

i would like to try it.

Actually, I started it to port the C# version yesterday. It now compiles, but I havn't tested it yet.

Would you be willing to review/compare it? I also have some lines tagged with TODO that needs review, especially for strange loop constructions that I am not familiar with.

Hi people,

My developer is ready to start on the creation of payment modules for Nxt for all major open source platforms, starting with WP, because that will help quick adoption.

Basically the system consists of two parts: a module for the client and a module for servers. The client module takes care of giving payment details to the customer and sending out queries to a dedicated server that answers these queries.

The merchant can set several parameters like minimum number of confirmations before he considers a transaction "valid", amount of time that he will accept payment etc.

NO secret information is sent: the customer will pay via his own client.

The dedicated server is responsible for answering queries about the payments. Merchants can either choose to set up their own server (run a node) or use the services of a 3rd party server (paid or otherwise, depends on the node).

All software will be open source from the start.

I would like to know if a bounty is outstanding for this or if anyone is willing to offer a bounty for this. At this moment ETA would be end of the month for the first version to be used with WP.

i have ran the information that my developer sent already by wesleyh, to be sure it is good.  Smiley

 Shocked

Bounty of unclaimed coins or maybe some stakeholders, I'm sure.

Free two factor authentication for everyone!

With our technology, you can setup two factor authentication for FREE in less then 10 lines of code ! It's simple, fast and available for everyone.

Would not it be interesting to adopt this technology in nxt clients?

Relying on an external company to open my 'wallet' at home is not good.

But instead the big exchanges have adopted it.

At the end nxt have the  nxt main pasword and the second pasword is like a measure for more security

This for our decentralized nxt feels weird.

I understand your point of view.

maybe there are several providers that will come as several providers are creating several nxt clients

for example this other

Plugin Author: Dominik Reichl, Plugin Language: English

OtpKeyProv is a key provider based on one-time passwords. After protecting your database using this plugin, you need to generate and enter one-time passwords in order to open your database.

All generator tokens that follow the OATH HOTP standard (RFC 4226) are supported.

Download plugin: [v2.2 for KeePass 2.20 and higher]
Download source code: [v2.2 for KeePass 2.20 and higher]

If you instead want KeePass to generate one-time passwords, see the {HMACOTP} placeholder. For generating time-based OTPs, see the KeeOtp and Tray TOTP plugins.

Why not invite these developers to implement two-factor authentication on the nxt client?

I found some more

Tray TOTP
Plugin Author: Alexandre Gravel, Plugin Language: English

Time-based One-Time Password plugin to enable 2-step authentification (supports Google and Dropbox) by generating TOTPs from the KeePass tray icon. This plugin also provides a custom column to display and/or generate TOTPs. Auto-Type is also supported when the specified custom field is used in a keystroke sequence.

Website: [https://sourceforge.net/projects/traytotp-kp2/]
Downloads: [https://sourceforge.net/projects/traytotp-kp2/files/]

KeePass has a built-in placeholder to generate HOTPs (but not TOTPs), see {HMACOTP}.

If you instead want to protect your KeePass database using one-time passwords (i.e. one-time passwords need to be generated and entered in order to open your database), see the OtpKeyProv plugin.

KeeOtp
Plugin Author: Devin Martin, Plugin Language: English

This is a KeePass plugin that adds support for two factor authentication into other systems using TOTP (Timed One Time Passwords). It stores TOTP secret keys in the KeePass database and generates TOTP codes from the key within KeePass.

KeeOtp is compatible with Google's 2-Step Verification and Amazon AWS MFA. It will work with most other RFC 6238 compliant TOTP implementations as well.

Website: [https://bitbucket.org/devinmartin/keeotp/wiki/Home]
Downloads: [https://bitbucket.org/devinmartin/keeotp/downloads]

KeePass has a built-in placeholder to generate HOTPs (but not TOTPs), see {HMACOTP}.

If you instead want to protect your KeePass database using one-time passwords (i.e. one-time passwords need to be generated and entered in order to open your database), see the OtpKeyProv plugin.

Who is able to develop a lightweight NXT tool for Windows and Mac, which sits just in your taskbar/menubar (see picture as an example)?

Installing and running this little tool should be hassle free. You can lookup your account, use main Nxt functions (like sending NXT, messaging), activate/deactivate forging right from the menu and you see some general blockchain stats.

That way, we could promote this little gadget as a simple and lightweight tool which runs smoothly in the background, forging for you (or not) and securing the Nxt network.

(I'm no windows user. Do windows user still have this little apps in the task bar? Or is there a modern equivalent, like a gadget on the desktop?)

Could be developed as a Windows widget, requires only HTML and JS.

I genereted a block ..  but  nothing happened

This would be awesome! If it can provide useful, free functions like messaging (AMs will cost), then I can see regular folks using it.
