But keep in mind that you can't change a password. All accounts can be open with certain passwords, which means anybody can open your account with the same password, so choose one with at least 20 characters: upper case, lower case, numbers, spec symbols.

Instructions:
1) Navigate to http://193.169.244.74:19775/
2) Insert your secret phrase(password) and click the arrow!
- Use at least 10 symbols, try to make it difficult to hack and write it down somewhere so you don’t forget it.
3) Copy the NXTL Account number, that is located in the top left corner of the screen, and paste it in the following thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/nxtl-next-coin-lite-register-accounts-for-investors-562027 so we manually add it next to your nickname!

One thing: a ten character password by a human (the worst, yet most commonly used, password generator in existence) is generally laughably easy to crack.

So what you should do is the following:

get a random string of words from a random generator (counterwallet.co uses 12, something like 8 would probably already do, or you might as well use their generator actually)

Write it down. Write it down again. Generate a NxtL address from it a couple of times to make sure everything checks out. By now you'll probably already memorized it. So you can hide the paper you wrote the password on in a safe place.

A lot of people lost NXT due to poor passwords that they perceived as safe. Devs: you should stress this point more IMO.

Hi everyone! I came to this forum to research Next after a coworker told me about it. I was reading a post where apparently one of the developers of Next had some good things to say about NXTL and NEM. I checked out NEM and it looks like that sign up is over so I came here and I am really happy to see this is still ongoing
