Try to request some fund, but I get this after I send my address:

Failed to pay: not enough spendable funds from RHAC3VUENY2KJ5YHHOVMJO3HDA2WZ53J,LSQUPOPMI27XVYAZF6OPAASEVYJX4KAI,LYPIH2MYJT7YFDF4HAEQZGRR72KPOLWF,PPRKZD3222MS6NQGVXOQPHA7PVLPEPLV for 80929

is that normal?

I guess your balance is still unconfirmed. Wait a few minutes and try again. You can see the amount of unconfirmed balance on the balance sheet of the wallet.

Yes it works now. Thanks for the info.

I tried to change a witness, but when I put the new witness in, it says "no stable messages from the new witness yet". What does it mean? Does it mean there are not enough transactions with this address? if so how many transactions it needs to qualify as a witness?
At least one transaction should be sent from the witness address, and it should be already confirmed.

I observe another issue. I created a few receiving addresses in my wallet, and send some coins to one of them, the transaction went fine, and the balance went from pending to normal, but I see nowhere the coin I sent, the amount is deducted from my wallet (while it should not be, because I simply sent from one address to another within my wallet).

Internal movements are not shown in transaction history as far as I remember.
All that could be deducted, is the transaction fee.

It's not the fee I think, I sent in one case a few thousand bytes, it simply disappeared. No error messages etc. And I don't see anything in the history. The issue is reproducible, I tested at least twice and see the same thing.

Could you please repeat once again and make a series of screenshots.

OK I repeated it, this time I sent a bigger amount (7900 bytes), it mostly come back to my wallet (7311 bytes), missing 589 bytes, I guess it is the fee?

Last two times my tests I sent two amounts < 300 bytes, so I guess all become fee, that's probably why I didn't see any coming back.

Yes, 589 bytes looks like it is the usual size of the fee.

how i can get byteball coin
and where i can get byteball coin
iam read this first page one i can see about Assets issue and about token
in byteball same ethreum all people can use byteball technology can create coin to token

yu cant obtain bytes for moment because it isn' available..for this time yu can upload testnet wallet and play with bytes test..chatbot will distribute some token if yu claiming.

yu can also upload last testnet version (tn) and exerce yu to claim proportional bytes at your btc balance  than yu will receive before realnet version of bytes..this bytes will be available end november..to claim bytes in this version..yu must link a private btc adresse with btc balance than yu want and processed with chatbot for claim of yur bytes..and it aren't real bytes

yu can find bytesballs wallet testnet for play with bytes (v.0.6.0) and wallet testnet (tn) for obtain yur balance btc before realnet here : https://github.com/byteball/byteball/releases

enjoy !

The amount of bytes you receive will be proportional to the total balance of this Bitcoin address on December 25.

I assume this'll be the same bot which will be used for the real Bitcoin address linking, however seing "December 25" for the testnet linking is a bit confusing, one may think that the testing phase extends to December 25 whereas, if I'm not mistaken, it is supposed to end by the end of November.

Thanks, fixed to November 30 to avoid confusion.

You are welcome.

So, I managed to link two Bitcoin testnet addresses using the micropayment option (thx lerecidiviste for the links to the testnet online wallet and faucet Wink).

Once I linked a first address (and closed the chat window), I couldn't find a way to query the bot about the address to which the micropayment should be sent and the amount of the micropayment (so that I can link a second address). Given the fact that there is no chat history, it seems the only way to know the address and the amount is to look in the transactions history.

no chatbot history to me also..I think this may be a problem to enforce your rights if a bug occurs  Undecided

Does that mean that one have to participate on the testnet distribution in order to get the coins for livenet, too?
Or can one participate independently in both distributions?

You don't have to, but you can if you want to see now what the process is going to look like.
Testnet and livenet distributions are independent.

Just to be clear, Testnet distribution starts on Nov 30th, but actually distribution won't start until Dec 25th?

Correct, livenet distribution will happen on Dec 25th.

But if the balance is deducted and not replaced, that is an issue, has anyone else tested this potential bug?

Hello! Couple questions: Once we connect our btc wallet to the TN wallet provided on the software Bytes will be distributed on the realnet according to the btc balance at the time of connecting or at the time of distribution?
At the time of distribution.
And this is not realnet yet, TN will be the new testnet.

also, in order to send a signed message (instead of a transaction) the chatbot asks me to submit wallet address first, how do we do this? if i tell him my wallet address he just tells me to send btc Tongue. thank you
If the bot doesn't recognize a testnet Bitcoin address, he tries to guide you along the micropayment route.  I guess you told him a livenet address?
