MY RED TRUST LEFT BY SCUMBAGS - READ MY SIG
I have to agree, should make the distribution more like clams ie have some other currencies that new crypto users have more of.

Not only to favour the bitcoin whales. Why should those that have the most always gain a huge unfair advantage over new comers?

This is not in the spirit of crypto currency.

Good to see some Iota clones.

10^15 Byteballs to be created from the start...
Well, your coin will be a pain in the ass to trade if they are paired with btc, instant 1 satoshi value.
And even with 1 satoshie value = instant 10 000 000$ market cap right from the start.
You sir definitly have balls... but not so unrealistic...

Your calculation is interesting but please keep in mind that Byte is only the smallest unit of Byteball. There are also Kilobyte (1.000 Bytes) and Megabyte (1.000.000 Bytes), so your example with 1 Byte = 1 Satoshi is only a (remote) possibility. More likely is that exchanges uses the Kilobyte unit with 3 decimal places, so it could be 1 Kilobyte = 1 Satoshi as well! This is all highly speculative and only time will tell.

hi
how to solve this problem?
http://i64.tinypic.com/21cti7n.png

This is a known bug that will be fixed in the next release.  It is caused by incorrect behavior after you have deleted the wallet seed.
Before the next release, you can reinstall the app (you will lose all testbytes) but don't try delete the seed in the current version.

thank you... it's work

Since private payments are stored only on your device(s), and updated every time you send or receive blackbytes, the best way to protect from device failure is to have a multisig wallet with redundancy, e.g. 1-of-2 is enough for backup.

How do I backup my wallet?

You can do a backup on windows and linux by copying the user's data folder. Look at the folders "c:\users\YOURUSERNAME\appdata for windows" and "~/.config" for linux.

How do I restore the wallet if the device is damaged?

Sounds a bit like Cryptkeeper wants to keep all the crypto for himself.

You can't possibly be serious with that but on the other hand I see no smiley after the sentence!
How can it be that I want to hide Byteball from the world if I tweet nearly daily about it to my 3000 followers on twitter. And what am I doing here in this thread, talking to myself?

In my book you've qualified as a troll.  Roll Eyes
The first troll in Byteball, we must be honoured because every decent crypto project has some trolls.
