yes, imagine doing something like Apple. silly idea

Sorry but no ... You don't do something like Apple just because Apple does it, that's not a valid argument. Apple and Byteball do not target the same kind of users/markets so what works for them doesn't necessary work for everything. Generally (not this specific announcement), announcements of announcements in the crypto community might create hype and may drive up the prices to high (artificial) levels, that's not good since they will fall down aggressively after that in a "buy the rumor, sell the news" type of pump and dump. In the current context (correction/bear) news/rumors may not necessarily have that effect, yet I can't really see a positive side to this. You seem to think announcements of announcements are a good thing in general, if so, can you please explain why you think that? Thank you.

OMG i just sent my frist byteball transcaition.. MAGIC fast holy cow
Guys how secure is backing up a wallet? How come we don't use seed words like btc?

The Byteball addresses follow the same algorithms like Bitcoin (IMO it’s BIP44 but not sure), so you can restore all non-private assets using your seed words. But there are some advanced features like paired devices, smart payment contracts and private assets (e.g. Blackbytes) which you can’t restore by seed!

Solaris & ZeroCoin & txbit.io exchange ! Go !!!
Byteball project has big potential to change gambling industry based on this breaking ideas, easy to use wallet, fast transaction speed, blackbytes, DAG and more good things.
Some day Byteball will beat Dogecoin to be the first one in gambling industry.
Another plus point is Byteball has smart contracts.

The platform is rock solid. It's one of the most feature complete platforms around. Price on an exchange doesn't change that.
Yes, the price does change a lot of things.
Lower price directly indicated people going out of the currency and hence hampering the  growth of the platform that again makes people leave thus creating a viscious cycle of death for the coin (something like doge).

The only thing that the lower price does is change the distribution. You must realise that the bytes distributed through various mechanisms would in most cases be sold at the exchanges. That doesn’t change the potential of Byteball one bit.

if dodge is in a death cycle it might be because its a shitcoin. there is nothing similar to the byteball platform out there

Death, really?

With the price chart like this, I think it is time to hop on and get profits.

All paid signature campaigns should be banned.
Anybody passing by on the app store will laugh at our name.
Apple users will get used to it: iPad name draws feminine hygiene jokes

Call it iBall, they'll love it!
Wouldn't iByte (an apple) be more appropriate?

Have heard private assets such as blackbytes cannot be restored from seed. You can restore bytes and other public assets though, but I never tried it. You can find the seed in the wallet settings btw. It even says you cannot restore multi-signature addresses and private assets with the seed only.
