For those who aren't on slack and following the #tradetheodds channel or didn't catch it in the latest newsletter... there is an ongoing effort to create a P2P sports betting exchange website (using https://reactjs.org) with Byteball smart contracts and on chain oracles. Betting is with $GBYTE not a new/niche coin. The goal is to be live in time for FIFA. The homepage and dashboard preview are almost finalized.  This week we will announce the "coming soon and here's a preview" site. If you're willing to promote and retweet please follow https://twitter.com/Trade_The_Odds. Tony said he will retweet the announcement so once it's out you should see it from the Byteball twitter account as well.

This could provide a nice push to Byteball. With increasing real world applications, Byteball definitely has an edge over all those coins which have nothing but a whitepaper backing them. Yet we are not in the top 100 coins while the rest have fantastic valuations.

The preview of dashboard of trade the odds, says it will be ready on the second half of 2018, which is 22 day from today, is it?

I see people developing nice apps and websites that monitor the Byteball network, issue assets, create bots, etc. Where is the resource for someone interested in doing such a thing? Are these people just smart enough to look at the github and know how to develop? There doesnt seem to be any developer docs from my searches.
There is Dev documentation on GitHub: https://github.com/byteball/byteballcore/wiki/Byteball-Developer-Guides

Note: I believe that someone actually created a "proper" Wiki elsewhere... https://wiki.byteball.org/Main_Page but that seems to be more "user orientated" than Developer orientated.

For a coin outside the top 100 there's a lot of really interesting projects and features being added to the ecosystem every week, I can't think of another coin with this much activity inside the ecosystem outside the top 100. Makes me feel it's just a matter of time before something goes viral, like the insurance or sports betting, or maybe boinc. Keep it up guys!

There are a lot of interesting projects out of the top 100 which were growing from low volume/low market cap (lets say from millions of dollars) to tens millions or even hundreds of millions. They are growing up!
Byteball is not among them. It was jumping from the top 50 to outside of 100, with 1/4th the market cap of its peak.

Supporters always says it is a good project. Let's see its future. Ok, let's wait.

If you want to know if this is a good project you can try it by yourself, just need to download the wallet and judge it.

Does anyone know if it's possible to remove the Freebe bot from my wallet?

I think the drop outside the top100 can be attributed to the end of the full moon airdrops and the uncertainty over how the remaining byteball will be distributed, and how long it will take. That was, and still is, a major negative on the market price, BUT, that doesn't mean we can't acknowledge  and applaud the good things going on in the ecosystem.

Without the new features and projects BB would have dropped much further, maybe even have gone into full obscurity.

Without the end of moon airdrops BB could easily be in the top20.

Time will tell if tony's decision to prolong the distribution to hopefully increase adoption will work, but in the short term the price effect was obviously negative, but the ecosystem is getting better and more interesting all the time.

We are coming to Venezuela.

1. A grant was recently awarded to conduct a use-a-thon in Simòn Bolìvar University in Venezuela, see  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Pjiv56RlGUjsWHB6z9Hg2flDOjC8gUEp6rxNCLEKvuQ/edit and #use-a-thon on slack.

2. The domain of this university usb.ve is whitelisted for the reward from email attestation, it's 9000 students.

Maybe the price of byteball or its capitalization is not correlated with the amount of development of the byteball project.

I just want write a thank you note to our developer Tonych, for the byteball project, for let us know all the time that the bytes are moving forward, that the team is active.

Maybe other projects have momentum and speculation... but byteball has real live applications.

I think that the powerful feature of Byteball is the use of email address for sending bytes and token and when I send coins to email and it get to my wallet, It is hard to believe, even by doing it and after confirmation, I actually have the coin. No copy and paste anymore. It will take some time get use to no copy and paste.

byteball distinguish itself from other coin in many things, but the email address for sending coin is an big diference...

Luck  Simòn Bolìvar University in Venezuela that get paid for register an email.

I think, give more time and byteball will outshine the others. Others have fantastic valuations owed to the overhype of those loyal supporters. But byteball is not giving false promises and they just do their job. For those who truly believed this project, they will be ardent supporters as long as byteball is here in crypto.

A few days ago got free NiceByte tokens airdroped into my byteball wallet and received a little more today. Does anyone know what that is? Whether they have any real value?

Previously, did you ever follow their gift campaign. Usually such an event because you follow one of their prize campaign. Or it could be mis-sent.

Nicebytes were airdropped on bytes' holders. A quick search using the forum's search engine would have landed you on their thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annico-nicebytes-a-token-that-brings-satisfaction-3428403, you can get more info there.

Waiting for a new exchange to add Byteball , it is certainly a great technology that is now under the radar but with the right exposure to exchanges it can grow at a rapid pace .
Binance and Poloniex should be the next priorities for Byteball.
Poloniex has shown many signals for their comeback. Why not taking advantage of the transitional period and ask them for listing Byteball?

I think the impact of exchanges is overrated. Of course Polo and Binance could have some positive impact but Byteball is already listed on Bittrex which is one of the best ones. I do not see an urgent need to get on more big players. Especially as it costs a lot of money/Bitcoins.

An old kooz female with skin tints sent that out without a shred of self-acknowledgement. If u did not hear about that, relevant reddit thread on r/cryptocurrencies board is a read. I will allow myself to throw out a tab bit more elaboration on the matter when the interest on ur side arises although cant guarantee that it will be today or have a chance to ever happen.
