I opened my android wallet and got this error (see image below), and as far as I remember the app stopped and closed after clicking OK. Does it mean it can't load the balance or something else?

Nothing has changed since the last time you opened it and it was working and this time? Are you using the latest release? Is your app protected by a password?

hi

each time i switch hub from byteball.fr/bb to byteball.org/bb i cant use the wallet.
after a restart i see this error message:

Quote
Uncaught exception: Error: message encrypted to unknown key, device xxxxx, len=228. The error might be caused by restoring from an old backup or using the same keys on another device.

i have to delete the byteball folder in application support and import a backlup.

whats wrong and how can i change hub?

I also really believe in Baytall. The project is the best! Why is it so little appreciated?  Needs some loud marketing moves, perhaps.

It's concept is kind of revoluting but the supply is too small ( counted as GBYTE ) so the price gets high and scares off any community looking for a crypto currency to use.

IMO, BYTE has failed to reach its desired popularity now or it would have worth so much more then it is or was at its ATH. There's only BYTE blockchain neither needs a block or a chain, has working product, able to giveaway easily ( a crypto email check ). This thing has lots of room to growth, crypto is all around bitcoin currently.

Its price is good (at least in my opinion). More than 0.02 BTC for each Gbytes, its price is almost the same as of top altcoins.

The price per unit shouldn't matter. If you want to consider a measure related to the price you can use the marketcap, not that this one matters either but it surely is better than looking at the price per unit.

Baytall, which one did you imply in your thread? In addition, the topic is only for Byteball discussions, so I guess you missed something or simply typo.

Now, I have a wallet in my Android telephone. I want to set up a wallet in my computer, I just need to type my private key to sync wallet, is it right?

The easiest and straight way is to set up a new wallet on your computer and send all your assets and bytes to it.

What do you exactly want to do?
If you want to start using the app on your computer exclusively, then if you only have public assets (like bytes) the seed is enough to access you funds on the newly installed app, if you have private assets (like blackbytes) you need to restore from a full backup.

Not your keys, not your coins!
~
especially the whole worse community.
Haha, thanks very much for your fake kindly words, xlcus.
However, I don't think your words can have any considerable effects on Byteball project and Byteball price, too. Price will be affected mainly by two components: whales and the project internal values, not you.
Personally, Byteball has several promising, top-notch technologies (as you can check in its website and its lastest report - in previous pages of the ANN). So, why not hit higher prices in the future?

I strongly believe in rising scenarios!
Let's make Byteball greater than IOTA, for the first time!

byteball should have half of the marketcap of iota
Agree! At the moment, Byteball has much higher values than Iota, but total marketcap of Byteball is fall further behind of IOTA.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/iota/
$111,730,522 USD  for Byteball in comparison with $2,755,573,511 USD for IOTA.

I strongly believe in Byteball project and its amazing technologies. Some day in the future, might be this year, Byteball will hit top ten of the crypto market.
Let's wait and see!

No way. Shitcoin/Copycoin use all the same Tech with Bitcoin. None of shitcoins can reach the half of Bitcoin market. It is the same for Byteball, especially the whole worse community.

Why half? Why not the same, why not double, why not tenth, why not anything else? I mean how can we even have any idea about what marketcaps of crypto currencies (that are barely used) should be?

I use android wallet, if I update the application, will the address change?
Or is there a way to keep the address unchanged even though I update it?
Because I use the payment addres in my android wallet. If it changes, then the payout from the signature will not go into my wallet.

No worry, your wallet will stay the same.

Hopefully BYTEBALL will rise again (like it did few weeks ago). Hopefully the new release will attract more community and will be listed on a bigger exchange because volume trading  is an important indicator.
Haha. It is extremely ridiculous and risky if you invest your money mainly based on your hope, your belief. You should make your important decisions based on clear evidence, and good causal inferences.
Please spend your precious couple of minutes to look at the historical price chart of Byteball:
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/byteball/
What do you see? Are there periodic cycles of Byteball price?
It will be better if you connect the dots and see general, wider picture.
Which dots? Connections between Byteball and Bitcoin price.

Good luck with your forensic analysis, fella.
