Won't be going to hub.berlin as Tony is also going to Bitcoin Wednesday in Amsterdam the week after, on Dec 6, which is much closer for me, and cheaper! Wink

He is giving a Byteball presentation there, and we can maybe organise something before or after for the byteball fans as well? Smiley Ideas welcome!

Who is coming to Bitcoin Wednesday in Amsterdam on Dec 6?

I'll be there, drop me a PM if you want to meet up earlier!

Now I'm getting seriously envious, had I known it with more advance I'd booked a little jump there - Byteball is so far my favorite platform and I would not have missed such an event!

Change of plans, will be going to hub.berlin afterall!  Grin

Anyone wants to meet up Monday evening already?

We can go grab a bite and have some drinks  Cool

If not possible for u Monday evening already, would like to meet up at the event too with the Byteballers. Where shall we meet?

What time is Tony talking and where exactly?

Not sure will make it to Bitcoin Wednesday as I might have started my travels again.

byteball should have same Value as IOTA ..

Then Byteball should incorporate a foundation and appoint new board members weekly with much fanfare instead of upgrading the official wallet or releasing an official mobile wallet  Cool

is there an airdrop coming? when yes, when? thanks.

Please read the first page. Next airdrop in March 2018.

Next airdrop proposed to be in March 2018. Since it is dependent on the effectiveness of the other methods of distribution which are being planned, I strongly suspect that the airdrop might be cancelled. This wouldn't be a bad thing for byteball holders.

Just found out about this. I like how you derived the name Byteball from a snowball since it's a nice illustration of how your underlying architecture works Wink

There is 5Gbytes Bid order for over spot price.
Great arbitrage opportunity.

Just check yourself at : https://cryptochangex.com/markets/gbytebtc

Is cryptochangex a reliable exchange? No experience with it yet. Just to be sure you can withdraw Smiley However I've seen only 1Gb bid orders there.

Nice to see you here Marc, love your youtube channel...and lambo Smiley

I have been buying blackbytes in recent weeks but there are two issues I feel stand in it's way towards bigger adoption:
1. Users may not be aware that they should backup their wallet each time they spend blackbytes or else they risk loosing their balance in scenarios such as a wallet restore.
2. It isn't trading on exchanges due to technical limitations which I have not yet fully understood.

Hopefully the first issue can be addressed during a future wallet update.

Thanks btcdee Smiley

1. Agree, this is very unuserfriendly. Not sure how this can be solved. Understood that you can ignore everytime you spend as the ones remaining can be recovered although it's not easy, but after you received u have to do it everytime or u lost them if u have no backup.

2. You can buy blackbytes in the wallet without talking to anyone, just execute orders using freebe exchange bot for example. Ofcourse it would be better if traded on a big centralised exchange, but indeed if you want to do private transactions, not a good idea to buy your coins on a centralised exchange anyway.

The biggest problem I have with blackbytes is keeping my multidevice wallets synced, my phone is unable to keep up it seems (800 private payments to go ...) so I can't do any blackbyte transactions anymore and probably need to reinstall the wallet there :/

In general Byteball app still has many bugs, it is not ready to be used by the layman, but for a patient motivated user or investor it sure is worth learning, sharing and stashing it.

Value of Blackbytes $10 million is seriously undervalued, even taking it's shortcomings into account. Given a 1% chance it succeeds in becoming a respectable privacy coin, valued $1 billion these days, that is 1% chance for a 100x. But because it does things quite differently than it's competition, I think it may succeed in keeping transaction fees lower as Monero and zcash for example, and possibly offer more privacy and user friendliness over time, I therefore estimate the 1% chance as considerably higher, say 10%.

I have not visited this thread in a long time and wanted to know if keeping the bytes in our wallets is the best thing right now or should we start doing some trading with it? I think there has been a decline in price over the last ten months as I remember the price when I bought was sitting at 0.3 btc now is sitting at 0.03 btc or am I reading something wrong?

 Cheesy

Nope, u r reading that right! Smiley

However, u do have to count the free bytes you also got in the meantime to calculate your real returns.

Thanks to all the airdrops past 10 months I would estimate you have double the amount of bytes now, so 0.03 x 2 = 0.06 btc value, for an investment of 0.3 btc.

Still a disaster but you know what they say then in world of investing?

OPPORTUNITY!!! TIME TO DOUBLE DOWN! Wink

Serious though, I've been buying, especially blackbytes, they are ridiculously cheap still.

Check out my presentation about Byteball I recently did if u need some pumptalk  Cool
