byteball airdrops really are terrible, I don't know whose idea it was to constantly give away to people who don't even hold the coin so people only interested in holding BTC and dumping byteball immediately get rewarded on a regular basis, it's a terrible setup. Bitcore is a good example because it's a % based on your bitcore holdings so it encourages people to hold and accumulate. It makes no sense at all to keep rewarding people who just dump right away. I'm very disappointed with the way it's all turned out.

Byteball airdrops are now mainly for Byteball holders. Linked BTC gives very little Bytes.

yet it still gives to just btc holders, even if it's smaller than it was it's still rewarding people who hold zero byteballs, it's a terrible system when they could simply airdrop based on a % of current byteball holdings. It makes no sense to keep rewarding people over and over who hold zero byteball.

I'm working on translation of newly added strings. Can anybody advise what "key value pairs of data" in below string refers to?

Quote
Post arbitrary key-value pairs of data into Byteball network.

Does the word "key" meaning is as in "cryptographic key" or key as "crucial"?

Neither of the two.  It's devspeak Smiley
Here "key" is like "index", see 19 in http://www.dictionary.com/browse/key
OK, thanks. Translation done.

When first ever ICO is running in side the wallet of Byteball my expectations were to see this showing some effect on the price. But the market valuation is telling other story as we are facing more decrease in value as it slipped under 0.03 BTC. I am not worried but can't understand the logic.
Most probably haven't even got the news about the ICO, just got their airdrop and dumped.

[And how do you change the number for TitanCoin display in your wallet, its pretty huge numbers?

Currently it is displayed in "TitanPennies" (1 TitanCoin = 1,000,000 TitanPennies).  We'll have user friendly names and decimals in the next wallet update.

I have received my byteballs, thanks to the developer. Price tanks as usual right after the snapshot, we will see the real value of byteball after the airdrop is completed.

On a separate note, I like the fact that we see our First ICO based on byteballs. Working on that use case angle. Thumbs up.

Yes the airdrop method of attracting users has proven to be a failure. Still very bullish on the long term value of this project.

Only 13% more - so far.  Of course it's tanking.  All alts are tanking.   Everyone jumping out of alts to buy bitcoin simply because of FOMO.  Not only is bitcoin jumping, but people want the forks.  Why would you be in an alt when you can get Bitcoin cash, gold, 2x, silver, platinum, and every other jump clone for free.   So, you could (just like people are doing with byteball, sell off the free stuff to buy more bitcoin and get all those free things as well (without even trying to claim them).  The real issue is if you can time it right to buy into the alts of your choice (like byteball) when all the forking splits are done.  Good luck.

Exactly, bitcoin is nothing but a overpriced shitcoin now, value being held up by scam forks. We will likely see a massive dump of btc as people flee back into best altcoins very soon  Smiley

Don't hold your breath. Bitcoin is still the daddy, it's not about the price nor technology, it's about adoption and popularity.

adoption of bitcoin is a myth, nobody is using when it costs $50 per transaction
Be real seriously, really, Bitcoin has the largest userbase, it's not a myth, it's reality. I don't see why we need to argue about something that is more than obvious and go off topic. Sure there may be far better alt coins than bitcoin, but the reality is very few people have even heard of them, however even my grandma has heard of bitcoin.

There is no reason to dump Byteball: who got here for the "free money" does not seem to recognize this project's true potential.
I am collecting bytes and blackbytes since last year and I am patiently waiting for the last distribution round where I believe this coin will make a difference. It is one of the most interesting coin available on the market.
We will see  Smiley
