wait so bittrex gave out GBYTE to all btc holders? that sucks
no man, thats perfect. it makes distribution better
it would only create a new whale if bittrex kept all bytes

The new distribution key and its effect (I am satisfied with it. It is useful to slowly reduce unhealthy incentives).

Compared to the old model:

I`ve jut got 1,130,542,256 bytes - does it mean I have 1.13 GBYTE that`s shown at coinmarket cap
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/byteball/#markets ?
If so, I can sell it via a chat bot or bittrex, correct?

I suppose to get giga-blackbytes (GBB) but my wallet shows "0"
Why?

If someone could informatively explain about bytes (I`ve just received 1.13 GB) and blackbytes in my wallet which I didn`t
that would be much appreciated!!!

Be careful with bittrex if you are an unverified user. They just dropped their withdrawal limit from 1BTC to 0.025 BTC without warning.

It's time to switch to https://cryptox.pl
No limit, very low fees and nice GUI.
When trading bots are active, prices are similar to Bittrex.

Yes I think I will also return to cryptox.pl after the customer support experience I just had in bittrex.

BITTREX SUCK, don't use it. They have moronic withdrawal limits and they stubbornly demand 2FA that requires you to install additional software. Their IT guy clearly is delusional and does not have an idea how to achieve information security without compromising customer experience. They require you to have a smartphone and they go absolutely draconian on any customer who refuses to buy a smartphone or use Google's products. Bittrex is done, DEAD. Was fun when it lasted but now they have messed up. Time to move on to exchanges that don't treat their customers like shit.

I'll give it a try next time I have something to trade. It doesn't help for the ~4 BTC I have stuck on there right now though, 4 withdrawals has tuned into 160 withdrawals without sending them some identifying information. It just seems rude not to give clear advanced warning, I may have even verified if they had given a reasonable argument as to how they will be responsible with the information (last time I verified on an exchange my identifying information was leaked publicly and I am just having none of that now).

Thanks Tonych for the airdrop Smiley I'm sorry to see the price drop, but I love your new distribution schedule. I've said it before and I'll say it again: you have a unique cryptocoin with a unique distribution model. So far, you've done a very good job, and I trust your judgement on how to make Byteball bigger and better. Thanks!

I got airdrop on Bittrex!
I didn't even have a balance left, but my depo addy still had balance. I think this proves Bittrex didn't try to claim airdrops on their own. It's just a small amount, but a nice surprise anyway.

1337 BTC? That used to be 1 BTC.

We support two types of accounts.

Basic accounts can withdrawal up to 3 BTC worth of digital currency equivalent per day if they have two-factor enabled.
Enhanced accounts can withdrawal up to 100 BTC per day if they have two-factor enabled.
"Legacy" is not in their list of account types.

I have a Legacy account there too. So for those of us who have been account holders on Bittrex for around 4 years or so can withdraw a large sum. I also have a withdrawal limit of 1337 BTC! Just wish I had that much to withdraw.

GBYTE team, must start marketing it already, presenting it to merchants and companies that can be partbered with them for more use in real world. In this case, demand will always be there, and will keep people from dumpong so hard, and about the distribution, that is a good way so that people wilk juat hold what they have and not dump.

So did the blackbytes come?

I only can see GB?

i havent gotten my blackbytes either. it is usually a few days after the byteballs are done being distributed.

my question about blackbytes is whether i can move my byteballs now and still get rewarded with blackbytes or should i wait for the blackbytes to arrive? thanks in advance

any volume is being bought.  Smiley didn't anticipate that

My advice is to buy it all at the price below 0.11. You will never see Byteball that cheap. Next airdrops bring 10 times less GB per BTC. And GB per GB are only 2 times less. And if Tonych indeed has some plans about integrating Byteball into shops, we can go to the moon.

I am a bit confused by the OP description of the changes coming to distribution moving forward. Can you explain them? Thanks.

Before changes:

for each BTC linked you get 0.0625 Gbyte
For each 1 Gbyte in wallet you get 0.2Gbyte

After changes:

1btc linked you get 0.00625Gbyte
1Gbyte in wallet you will get 0.1gbyte

hoep thats clears the things for you.

So in other words holders of Gbytes, businesses which will work with gbyte will gain ad btc holders wont.

So this means many many more rounds.  Has anyone done the calculations on how many more rounds? Maybe Tony should make the airdrop random going forward.  That way people can stop playing this pump and dump game to accrue more bytes.  I think this would greatly help stabilize the price.  The current price swings may deter new users who want a more stable investment

It does, thanks. Is that a permanent change?

What % of total GBYTE has now been distributed?

in circulation is over 50%
what was distributed, u need to calculate yourself. last drop was 365000 in circulation.

agree, i see no sense in selling now, the airdrop is being throttled massively, this is the last great drop so in the coming weeks/months it'll seem like a golden giveaway and the best chance you ever had to get a significant amount for free. Add to that the compound of a few more airdrops bringing in more coins for holding than having btc and i'd say you'll get a much better deal if you want to sell by holding everything now until the drops finish
