Shapeshift is working now ith overstock so might be worth to mention that massive retailer looking at shapeshift. This might be chance for gbyte.

BITTREX SUCK, [...] They require you to have a smartphone and they go absolutely draconian on any customer who refuses to buy a smartphone or use Google's products.

Are there any alternatives to google 2FA?
I mean why do we need to use google software for this?
Is there any software that can achieve 2FA without using any of the google software?!  Huh

This fucking exchanges are all pro google!
I do not want  to be tracked by them 24/7 ;(

What about the OATH Toolkit (http://www.nongnu.org/oath-toolkit/index.html)? It's free software (is it from Google?). No need to buy a smartphone for 2FA. This is available for Linux ($ oathtool --totp -b [KEY]). And there's some software for Windows, too. Authy was mentioned before (dunno if this one's from Google).

Still there are these Google captchas we all love.  Angry

dude one of the major points of a 2FA is to have it on a completely separate device so that you eliminate the risks of getting hacked or something.
if you run the 2FA app on the same device (eg your computer where you have the page open) you may as well disable it. and just have 1 strong password.

not sure here why everyone is so surprised about price drops. unless user interest and adoption increases equal to coin increase rate its logical it will drop. byteball is 50% distributed. at 100% distribution at current user base i expect it to halve its current price at least maybe more due to the no more free coin factor. under current trends id expect at 100% distribution its value per 1gb to be 0.05btc. it will be higher if user ownership increases 100% of what it is today.

this is just logical. why are people so surprised that when coins increase that price decreases if user amount is the same?

it is already an illogic when you presume user amount is the same ,where do you think that 1.4 million linked bitcoin came from?

Hi, I had 1 BTC when I linked my account, now I have 10 BTCs, Am I going to receive bytes according these new 9btc in the next drop?
Thanks!

It depends on timestamp of snapshot of blockchain it doesn't how much you received in previous round. For more information you must read the section Fair initial distribution about the time of snapshot.

Be careful with bittrex if you are an unverified user. They just dropped their withdrawal limit from 1BTC to 0.025 BTC without warning.

It's time to switch to https://cryptox.pl
No limit, very low fees and nice GUI.
When trading bots are active, prices are similar to Bittrex.

Yes I think I will also return to cryptox.pl after the customer support experience I just had in bittrex.

BITTREX SUCK, don't use it. They have moronic withdrawal limits and they stubbornly demand 2FA that requires you to install additional software. Their IT guy clearly is delusional and does not have an idea how to achieve information security without compromising customer experience. They require you to have a smartphone and they go absolutely draconian on any customer who refuses to buy a smartphone or use Google's products. Bittrex is done, DEAD. Was fun when it lasted but now they have messed up. Time to move on to exchanges that don't treat their customers like shit.

right.... so you're so smart on information security how would you do it without 2fa? 2 x passwords? grow up its not draconian passwords are cracked and emails havked. texts can have phone number hijacked.. proper 2fa works.

BTC to Bytes: every 160 BTC gives you 1 GB from the distribution (or 0.00625 GB per BTC).
Bytes to Bytes: every 10 GB of existing balance gives you additional 1 GB from the distribution (in other words, +10% to existing balances).

Similar ratios for blackbytes.

For those who receive their first bytes from cashbacks, Sep 6 will be the first distribution when they receive +10%.

I'll make announcements as we add merchants in the cashback program.

If my calculation is correct, that's about 7% worth of return (not including the +10% of 10gb existing balance).

It will be according to all your 10 BTC. It doesn't matter if you already got some bytes in the past distributions.

I predict 1 GBYTE = 1.5BTC next month! look at supply! so low supply so expensive coin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So you're predicting that the price will rise 10x in a month, and thus market cap will be more than 2 billion, being in top 10.

There's no doubt that the tech besides Byteball is great, but that's not enough. We need an exchange like Bitfinex to list it, then we can get similar hype as for IOTA. Not sure if current cashback bonus program will gain their interest, but it's worth for devs to try.
