Hi! The http://transition.byteball.org/ reports incorrect BTC balance on my address, because it quotes blockr.io. Is that a problem for the distribution?

I doubt the wrong amount is quoted; however, no one can help unless you provide the address.

Tell me the address and I will confirm it for you.  Smiley

And YET it is the wrong amount. I'm not new to this, you know...

And yet, no one can help without knowing the address.  I would like to see the wrong amount to prove you right.  Smiley

What is the time of the snapshot for the byteball this distribution period? And the rate is still the same per BTC and GBYTE you hold?

Read the very first post:
"August 7, 2017 at 18:10 UTC"

So, the very first bitcoin block at or after the full moon time is the snapshot (unless bitcoin has a reorg).

Before you ask, there is no way to know the exact time unless you have bitcoin insider ESP and know the exact time that block will be solved.  Smiley

Is there a way to unlink the previous BTC address? I have a new BTC address and I linked it, now I have 2 BTC addresses, can I remove the old one which has zero balance?

No, you can't unlink; however, you can get the transition bot to 'ignore' it if you create another transaction by trying to link to another byteball account.

I think you may have worried that you can't link multiple addresses?  You can.

How many BTCs are linked to the next distribution which is happening tomorrow? A link to see the stats would be much appreciated.

is it possible to make the transition bot to give you a new byteball address for receiving blackbytes? even if i tell the bot my new byteball address it still tells me to send all my bytes to the previous one in order to receive blackbytes! it's really annoying
Why don't you do what the bot asks for?

No, why would you want to un-link? It doesn't serve any purpose and would be only a burden on Tonych to implement unlinking code. Just keep it linked, it doesn't hurt if it has 0 BTC. The distribution will be over in 3-4 months and it won't matter anyway.

I bought byteball in bittrex and send it to my wallet, its been 1 hour and still didnt appear there?

Check your address at explorer.byteball.org if it contains your bytes. If not, contact Bittrex. If yes, you need to synchronize your wallet.

the moment everybody starts crying that they didnt buy at these low 450usd prices in 2017...

With a limited supply of only 1 million GBYTE after all distributions are finished, price could reach 5000 US dollars easily in 2018.
I am hoping that in 2018 MBYTE will become the trading unit, because of the high price of GBYTE and the scarcity of GBYTE in the market.
