Is there a way to backup Byteball windows wallet to a small sized file? When I try the backup complete wallet option, its creating a backup file size in GBs. Is it because blackbytes transactions are only stored locally?

You are trying to back up full node wallet with the whole history of DAG database. Instead of this make a new Byteball LIGHTWEIGHT installation on a new windows user profile. Transfer all bytes and blackbytes to this new light wallet and backup the light wallet. It will take a few megabytes in size instead of gigabytes.
Thanks for providing your input. Not sure why full node wallet is not providing a way to backup just my address & private keys. If I go with the above approach, I will have relink my BTC address again to the new Byteball address.
I can see a file named "byteball.sqlite-wal" in the data directory; quite doubtful if that's the wallet file.
Yes, you have to relink. The Byteball app has built in backup feature so you don't do a specific file backup but the whole app directory to a encrypted archive file through built in backup feature.

Why is this coin only in bittrex? 99,46% of the volume is traded there, makes it hard to buy.

There is no roadmap for future improvements, what is the current usage of the currency. I have seen the applications, but any web sites that show the currency is being utilized other than speculation?

edit: removed a link.

It's available and exchanged on Cryptopia as well.  It's a fairly low volume and the spread of buy/sell is usually significant, also the low volume means limited supply.... BUT it's available there Smiley

There's definitely potential for OTC trades too, from the marketplace on here.

One technical question: Every wallet that we create inside the Byteball app has its own new private keyes, or there is one only private key for the app, this means for all the wallets ?

The price continues to crash. Wise people may be selling to secure Bitcoin Cash before 1AUG17.

Hmmmm. Is it Btc cash or Btc crash? If ver and jihad is behind it we all know where this heading. But I agree. Some smart people might accumulate Btc to get 1:1 of btccrash and then dump it once orderbook is filled with buy orders.

Chinese gang behind that so they won't easily give up. Will surely try hard for Bitcoin Cash will be in mainstream.

Wise people ? Bitcoin cash will crash as soon as there are enough buy orders to dump into, it's responsible for spreading FUD and decreasing BTC price and development and will be responsible for a lot people losing their money, it will be comparable to famous scams like onecoin.

Now it is more profitable to buy and keep GB (+ 20%) than to keep bitcoin (0.0625GB). The price is good.

The default unit is gonna have to change from GBYTE to MBYTE (or KBYTE eventually) on exchanges.. much easier for somebody to buy 1000 MBYTEs for $1/MBYTE than 1 GBYTE for $1000/GBYTE.
You could argue the same for Bitcoin. GBYTES are traded in Bitcoins, not in dollars. So you'd rather have 1 MBYTE for 0.2 mBTC than 1 GBYTE for 0.2 BTC?

is this easily doable with the exchanges?

In my secret Byteball project I am already using MB. The good thing about MB is that 1 bytes is 0.000001 MB so 6 decimal places after comma. 1 satoshi = 0.00000001 BTC which is 8 decimal places. IMO 6 is much better than 8 or ever 9 in the case of GB. Also the cost of 1 MB is very convenient right now dollar-wise.

How can I check which BTC addresses I've linked to claim my byteball?

what ^ bones said or:

http://transition.byteball.org/

you don't actually have to put the whole address in there, after typing the first 4-5 letters you should be left with a short list.

That would be horrific, not sure will be bitcoin panic or byteball panic, lol. after aug 1, people will buy back bitcoin and wait for byteball distribution.
