@tonych * Real-name attested addresses get 1 point per GB of balance up to 10 GB and additionally 0.1 point for each GB above that.

Please, this rule is just perfect for fraud. Here for instance you can see someone using 36 times in a row the "Real-name attest" for approving his in 10 GB chunks splitted Byteballs, to get the full 1 point for every of his 360 GB. He was not even bothering changing the Referral-code. I am sure there is even a lot more people exploiting this "Real-name attestation", it shouldnt be that difficult to get 36 ID copies or people sitting infront of the Screen to get it.

You should remove these extra Points for Real-name attestation to prevent such kind of fraud.
The adress is here https://explorer.byteball.org/#AZBEPSAXJ3Q2TIUV32UWFTZ3JUEA3SXG.
Now he have split 60 times, but he have complete more than 1.500 GB.
If he is finisch with all, the probability that he wins is 1 to 3,5 for him Lips sealed
I share some bytes with my friends for more chance to win, but this method is cheating!
Notice the counter of RNA https://byteball.co/attestors

EDIT: Sorry is no cheat, he follows the rules but found a loophole  Grin

Wow, this is quite easy to fool then.

I must say, I liked the original full moon drops better Cheesy

What are those consolation prizes again?

Developers with brains clone the project and adapt a real world benefit from the beginning (no gambling with bots). They can then easily become multimillionaires.

So if you can't program on your own, but know someone, they will surely get you involved in the project. Surely more than 10% of nothing about a Reflink.

You are or know a talented programmer of javascript and node.js?
There is a new contest on the Byteball platform.

The Great Byteball Bot War
Solve a real world problem (games and entertainment solves the problem of boredom  Grin)
If the project regime is stupid it is up to the community to lead the project to success.
If the community can't, it's not better. That the rebranding took two years is because of these idiots.
it was fun with you, but it gets boring ...

And that's where you are wrong. You think like a terrorist, but in reality, if you do not like the choices that has been made then you are free to fork the project and do it better.
The rebranding doesn't guarantee a name that everybody thinks is better, there could still be people who say that the new name is stupid, so people like you who think this way will damage the project no matter the name is or whatever the choices have been made.

Seriously, go do something yourself, so at least other people could have the same opportunity to tell how bad your execution is, right now you are just criticizing people who actually do something, not just talk sh!t about others.

For now, Byteball has still been a good project.
Once upon a time, BYTEBALL was a promising project, but free distribution of coins based on BTC is a mistake, which we now see.  If the project claims to be a competitor to Bitcoin, then why depend on Bitcoin.  Hope others will take this lesson into account.

You are right, and this is why Bitcoin has widely been consider as a King in crypto world.
Without Bitcoin, it is very likely that there wouldn't be Byteball and many other cryptocurrencies today because Byteball and many other cryptocurrencies use same open-source libraries that Bitcoin community has written, so it is not totally unheard of that new cryptocurrencies distribute coins to Bitcoin users, where there is already large userbase.

Next time, come up with better distribution, share it with the community, stop moaning about some old distribution that was long time ago and use the current distribution methods that are available now.

You are right on this. But since I believe that only morons are waisting their time playing lotteries, this kind of distribution tends anyway to reward the unwise part of the community, ie those who like to play lotteries. And I guess that the likeness is high that winners might just insta-dump their winned coins. We'll see...

You do understand that it is not like actual lottery? Because you do put your GBYTE in stake. Lottery is usually where you win a lot or you loose all.

You reveal your identity only to Jumio
That part is clear to me, and that's the part I'm not ready to do.

I guess this is the part all of the wise part of the community is not ready to do, so this distribution is targeting to reward the unwise part of the community. This is a pity.

What makes you think that? 1 GBYTE = 1 point is only for the first 10 GBYTE, those who have less bytes don't mind doing the KYC, but there are also many un-attested addresses with over 100GB.
Attested 10GB would have same amount points as un-attested 100GB.
Attested 100GB would have same amount points as un-attested 190GB.
Attested 1000GB would have same amount points as un-attested 1090GB.

So, this bot is more pro staying un-attested if you are rich and pro-KYC if you not rich.

You are right on this. But since I believe that only morons are waisting their time playing lotteries, this kind of distribution tends anyway to reward the unwise part of the community, ie those who like to play lotteries.
