At round 1 10% of all Bytes were distributed and ~ 70k bitcoin were linked.
People got about 1,4GB / linked BTC, approx. 20 times more than now.

First you need to find somebody (a person) to be a party (peer) to your contract. Than you need to pair your device inside wallet with that other person and you can offer a contract via chat. When your peer accepts your contract offer - BOOM! It's done - peer-to-peer contract. is there an how to for dummies?

it was a huge amount more than all the other rounds. maybe 7gb per 1 btc or something.
Yeah basically if you were in every distribution except the first you'd have less than half as much byteball vs if you had gotten in the first round, due to the 10% interest on existing byteball. I've seen some posts requesting the establishment of a dev fund, just for the record, there is a community fund, used to pay for bounties and other expanses (not main devs salaries as far as I know), check out this post for more information https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.18115774. How is the fund, funded?
Donations in BTC, bytes and blackbytes plus bytes and blackbytes from each round's distribution plus unclaimed blackbytes. There's a spreadsheet with all the ins and outs, you can find the link in the post.
Sweet. My initial post was to get a fund with a little more weight going for long term sustainability.
My position was that I think the community would be ok if Tony put 1% of the supply into the fund purely for non-Tony dev purposes. (As Tony himself has the original 1% reward for building Byteball, which is fair)
As Byteballs value increases this fund would last a long time and help Tony run a top tier team.
I just don't see a dev fund based off of donations being able to pay for top tier contractors over the next 10 years.
Whenever I invest in a coin I try to imagine its staying power, can this coin compete, can it last?
The dev fund is always an important consideration to me.

that's a great usecase.
maybe in the future, we can develop more template?
these smart contact usecase can bring a lot of people into byteball.
all in all, byteball is more scalable than Ethereum in the future

Make sure you have version 1.8.2 installed and wait until it's fully synced. On a full wallet, this can take several hours.

You need to have a backup file from the built-in backup function or a manual copy of the user data folder of your byteball installation.
