is there a way to check Byteball and BTC addresses linking?

Two ways actually Smiley. You can ask the transtion bot, it will tell you your linked BTC and BB addresses and their balances, but it won't tell you which BTC is linked to which BB. However at transition.byteball.org you can find that info by searching for a BTC or a BB address.

1. how can i encrypt (make password protection) my single wallet on a single PC?

Go to device settings > request password.

2. what is the backup/restore wallet procedure?

To back up your wallet, you have to back up your data folder. Its location depends on your operating system: https://github.com/byteball/byteball#byteball-backups-and-recovery.

You can also back up your seed, available in device settings > backup. For the time being, it doesn't directly serve a purpose, however in the future, an option will be available to restore from seed.

To restore, just copy back the backed up folder in its location.

For the record, if you are updating to a newer version, there's no need to restore.

got it, thanks.

and another 1 question:

I think you must to know:
When you send transaction to other byteball address tip come back not to your main address (from where you send it transaction) but in new created (but this new address located in your wallet to and you can't see any changes from wallet overview). Some of you would said to me: in some bitcoin wallets we have the same situation (blockchain.info wallet for example). But in byteball it can be very disappointing when you main address (which you sign with your BTC address) became empty after transaction from it (and you can't use it in byte distribution)

It's for this reason that it is necessary to save completely the directory of the byteballs, not just seed. Or send transaction to main adress.

On average, how much blackbytes does this give me if I buy 1 BTC?  Huh
Also how much more BTC will I win, will the amount increase in the same way?
It would be more logical for me to keep BYTES instead of keeping BTC.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1608859.3580

..

The distribution rules:

BTC to bytes: 1 BTC of proven balance gives you 62.5 MB (0.0625 GB)
BTC to blackbytes: 1 BTC of proven balance gives you 2.1111 * 62.5 million blackbytes (money supply of blackbytes is 2.1111 times more than that of bytes)
Bytes to bytes: 1 byte on any Byteball address gives you 0.1 new bytes
Bytes to blackbytes: 1 byte on linked Byteball address gives you 0.21111 blackbytes

..

Thank you for the example. I tried to look at it individually but it was hard to find it.  Grin Grin
As far as I understand I need to keep btc quite alot possible until I get 2 distributions.

Individual consultations (three scenarios 1 BTC, 1 GB, 1 BTC + 1GB)  Grin:

Please check - I just did it on the fast (During my breakfast) Wink
and I assume you know that it is not yet clear how many rounds it will be...

After i install the wallet in computer win7 sp1 64, insert my address, then the wallet mention "unable_to_verify_leaf_signature", what does it mean, how to solve it. I already to install several times but not solved, please guys support thanks.

hi
I have a question,
How do I participate in 2nd distribution? Will I be automatically involved if I own a byteball in my wallet?

What i want
:Bytes to bytes,Bytes to blackbytes

All bytes in every wallet will receive new bytes (0.1 new bytes per 1 byte) but for receiving new blackbytes as well you have to send all your bytes to a linked address. Please talk to the transition bot to do so. You first have to link a bitcoin address to get to the stage where the bot gives you the linked byte address.

hi, guys.

i've made linkin' BTC addresses and Byteball addresses via chat-bot:

Code:
Your current linked Bitcoin addresses are [b]1MemNmw56zbYyB5KCdUu4sxnKm3ki8MbFo,[/b] 18QtWczuNrko3623aqhbApSYCwhKnwH4gB.

Please make sure that 1MemNmw56zbYyB5KCdUu4sxnKm3ki8MbFo, 18QtWczuNrko3623aqhbApSYCwhKnwH4gB are indeed your addresses and move all your coins to these addresses. You receive 62.5 MB and 131,943,750 blackbytes for each 1 BTC of the total balance of these Bitcoin addresses on February 11.

Current balances of these addresses are:
1MemNmw56zbYyB5KCdUu4sxnKm3ki8MbFo: 0 BTC
18QtWczuNrko3623aqhbApSYCwhKnwH4gB: 5.0242017 BTC.

For the bytes you hold on February 11 you receive 0.1 new byte for each 1 byte of your balance, even if your bytes are not on linked Byteball addresses.

You also receive 0.21111 blackbytes for each 1 byte of your balance on the linked Byteball addresses, which currently are:
KJFZZUYIQQSJWUTEUUKBTVMRP5HPAO35: 0 GB
HHTV3RMXHN6ZVFOLRLUD77C2MSKOQURY: 0 GB.

Move your bytes to one of the linked addresses in order to maximize the amount of blackbytes you receive.

But the fisrt BTC address 1MemNmw56zbYyB5KCdUu4sxnKm3ki8MbFo isn't mine, and the same about the first Byteball KJFZZUYIQQSJWUTEUUKBTVMRP5HPAO35 (it's deleted now).

bottom line

My non-zero BTC is 18QtWczuNrko3623aqhbApSYCwhKnwH4gB and my Byball address is HHTV3RMXHN6ZVFOLRLUD77C2MSKOQURY.

Is that correct that it's all aranged for 11 Feb receiving of MyBTCAddressBalanceAmountOn11Feb*(62.5 MB and 131,943,750 blackbytes)?

P.S. Why is this free gift (or what else)?

thanks for ur answers.

It's all good.
Last thing you have to do if you already have Bytes in your wallet is to send these bytes to your address HHTV3RMXHN6ZVFOLRLUD77C2MSKOQURY because otherwise you wouldn't get your new blackbytes for them.

This is a free gift because it's the distribution model the chief developer has chosen for his crypto (commonly known as 'airdrop'). Please read the OP for details!
