Yes Bangladesh Cricket Board got a best finisher batsman in lower order.Rishad Hossain's brilliant innings today is bound to blow the mind of all the cricket loving fans. If Bangladesh Cricket Board takes proper care of him then he can be a gem for Bangladesh cricket team in future. Rishad Hossain can play the long handle and even has a lot of strokes in his hands as he proved in the last two matches against Sri Lanka. But one thing is that there were some other players like him who came to Bangladesh earlier but they got lost in the lapse of time.

I don't know if anyone noticed that the Sri Lankans had a "time out" celebration after winning the T20 series at the prize distribution. Similarly, Bangladesh celebrated "a broken helmet" after winning the ODI series against Sri Lanka. That is called counter-reply.

They seem to be equally capable team. Bangladesh, the host nation won the three ODI series 2-1 against Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka had previously won the T20 series 2-1. They'll further be playing 2 test matches.
Today Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat. It was an strange decision as non of the ODI were won by first batting team. Sri Lanka batting first were not able to reach a good target as non of the batsmen were able to perform except Janith Liyanage who made a century with good strike rate. He was not out even when the team was all out.
Bangladesh chased the target quick and even though they lost 6 wickets, they were comfortable the whole chase.

We always see lot of individual brilliance in SL in most of their innings but they failed as team and that's how they lost this ODI series as well. He was needy of a player who could just stand with him otherwise it would not be good for them. No one could stand with him that's why the whole team was out but still, he was considered as not out player.
If they would have won the match then for sure the man of the match would have gone to him because without this century their team could have lost even more badly.

Though I was unable to watch the live game , the score card seems to have had a poor start for Sri Lanka. They failed to defend themselves against the attack of the Bangladeshi bowlers in the beginning. Pathum Nissanka and Avishka Fernando have to go back before they know about peaches. Kusal Mendis took some responsibility as captain but it was not enough for the team. On the other hand, Janith Liyanage brought Sri Lanka back from a difficult situation. He excelled as a new batsman in Sri Lankan cricket. He has probably featured in 9 matches and today was his best performance. His century today bodes well for himself as well as the team. Sri Lanka's batting disaster forced the team to lose to Bangladesh in the 3rd ODI match in this series. Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have won one series each in both formats in this tour. Bangladesh won the ODI series at home and will look to continue their winning streak in the Test series as well.

Mushfiqur Rahim and Rishad Hossain are the biggest architects of Bangladesh's victory in this match. Bangladeshi cricket fans witnessed yet another impressive innings from Rishad Hossain who had earlier played such an innings against Sri Lanka in the third T20 match.

I actually surprised when Sri Lanka chose to bat first after winning the toss, but Bangladesh undoubtedly brilliant today. It was expected for Bangladesh to win, especially in this format and on their home ground, after losing the T20 series. Both Bangladeshi bowlers and batsmen have performed well in this match. Taskin, Miraz and Mustafiz each had very controlled bowling. And because of this controlled bowling, Sri Lanka's innings stopped at just 236 runs. A mere 236 was not enough to win on this pitch.

Banfladesh's two young players Tanzid Hasan and Rishad Hossain batted brilliantly. Tanzid scored 84 runs off 81 balls. But Rishad Hossain's innings was very effective. After losing the wicket of Tanzid and Miraz, the Bangladesh team was under a lot of pressure. Rishad batted brilliantly at the required moment. But Sri Lanka team still was failed to stop Bangladesh batsman to chase their target and Bangladesh team chased down all target in 40.2 overs by losing 4 wickets. T.Hasan scored 84 runs in 81 balls with nine 4s and four 6s. R.Hossain also made 48 runs in 18 balls. Now in between these teams, test series will be played after few days.
