Match is already started as Pakistan women's after winning toss decided to bowl first and New Zealand having very aggressive start after 24 overs their openers are still on crease, and we have 146 runs after winning T20i there was feeling we will have good competition between these two teams in ODI as well but here situation is completely under New Zealand women's control and look like now after losing T20i series they are playing good game and not going to allow Pakistan for having anything positive from here Bernadine Bezuidenhou is on 84 runs and veteran Suzie Bates is also doing impressive job after having 64 on 63 balls look like we are going to have 350+ runs in this first ODI of the series which could be not easy to chase for the Pakistani women's.

I disagree. Maxwell did play an historical innings for sure which was my favorite performance from the entire ODI World Cup, but they would still go through to the semifinals even if they lost that match to be frank.

Head actually saved his team when they were reeling at 40+ runs for 3 wickets in the final which is why he was the right choice.

Japan playing cricket that is really a big win for cricket. The Japanese have a pre-existing aversion to cricket. They are not very fond of any game for a long time. But at present they have moved away from that position even if slightly. Asian Cricket Council Under-19s Asia Cup 2023 they scored 99 runs against Bangladesh. This score is small against Bangladesh team but not less for the Japanese team. In this match I like that Japan batted till 47 overs which is a big achievement for them. Also one of their players Nihar Parmar who scored highest run of the team by scoring 18 from 80 balls. This score is small in ODI cricket but he will be quite ahead in the fight to survive with wickets on the pitch. As they are new they need time to build a cricket position.
