That was boomer! I did not see the result until I woke up at 3 AM. I was too sleepy at 5 p.m., and I missed the next two salah. I had no intention to watch the match right after seeing that they lost three early wickets. Still, this is not a good win. Not much credit to the top-order batters. The last three lower-order batters scored 87 runs out of 265 runs.

Nasum and Mahdi did far more batter than a few top-order batters. Credit goes to them. Bangladesh won because India gave a chance to their bench players. Yet it's a win for Bangladesh. But nothing was affected by this win.

I don't blame India for losing this game. They are playing with second tier team and are testing new players today. It's a good strategy as it gives you backup players that can be used in crucial games. Bangladesh still need to learn lot many things about how to handle pressure towards the end of game.

Bangladesh have defeated India for the first time in 11 years in Asia Cup history. Bangladesh have won 3 out of their last 4 ODIs against India including a bilateral series win in December in 2022. This is Bangladesh only second win against India in Asia Cup history and what a win to. First time in 2012 Sachin Tendulkar scores a hundred against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup, India lose. Second time today Shubman Gill scores hunderd against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup and India lose. Shakib Al Hasan is the only player who has been part of both of Bangladesh wins against India in the Asia Cup and he also won the Player of the Match award.
