Looks like rain forecast has improved drastically implying that we might most probably be able to watch a full game between India and Pakistan later. This is really good news for cricket fans.

I doubt any of them can secure a high margin victory. Sri Lanka is performing better than the other two though as expected.

In order for Bangladesh to qualify for the semi-finals of the Asia Cup, several equations have to come in Bangladesh's favor at the moment. Afghanistan team is quite strong against opponents like Bangladesh. Bangladesh cannot build their squad properly. I saw their poor squad against Sri Lanka. The pitches are spin friendly. Bangladesh team management should have prioritized spin bowlers. But they have kept 3 pace bowlers in the squad. We know that Bangladesh's batting lineup is weak. And the batsmen could not bat well, and the performance of the bowlers was also bad. Sri Lanka won the match very easily. I don't see a chance for Bangladesh to win against Afghanistan if they field unnecessary pace bowlers. At the same time, the top order players must play well. I was going through social media posts and everyone is of the opinion that India vs Pakistan clashes are getting overhyped. We will have 2-3 matches between these two teams in the Asia Cup, and probably one in the Asian Games cricket championship. And then we will have 1-2 more matches during the ODI World Cup. This time I can feel it. Hardly anyone among my friends are talking about the match and the interest seems to be down. BTW, India might be having the momentum with them, having won 4 out of the last 5 matches between these two sides (ODIs).

The 4th match of Asia Cup 2023 between Bangladesh and Afghanistan will be played tomorrow at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore Pakistan. This match is very important for Bangladesh If they win it then have a good chance to qualify for the Super Four of the Asia cup. Afghanistan has a very strong bowling line especially his top Spinner Rashid khan and Mujeeb. So if Bangladesh wins this match they focus on their batting top order In the previous match failed to top order resulting in the lost match by 5 wickets against Sirlinka. Bangladesh if they get a 250 plus target then they have a good chance to win and qualify.

Don't think Afghanistan is the underdog in this Asia Cup. Their matches are always very surprising especially when they get to bowl first, with their classy bowling they can actually make a big difference to the match because if they can keep a low Target right in the beginning it becomes fairly easy for them to win the match.

Both Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are stronger than Afghanistan. The betting odds is slightly in favour of Bangladesh against Afghanistan. But the players of Bangladesh plays with the fear in most of the matches. This is the reason for their defeat in several matches. Anyway, I think Sri Lanka will win against Afghanistan. So, whoever wins between Afghanistan and Bangladesh will qualify for the super four.

@leonair I think you meant to say that "Bangladesh is a weaker team compared to Sri Lanka". Because I definitely think that Bangladesh is not a strong team when compared to Sri Lanka, at least not right now. So think that the win that they got against Bangladesh was actually very well deserved.

@Sithara007 Yes I also know that Bangladesh is definitely going to be the favourite against Afghanistan, but I still doubt that Bangladesh will actually be able to win the match considering the fact that Bangladesh is not playing very well right now. However Bangladesh will definitely be determined to win against Afghanistan after a  very bad loss against Sri Lanka.

Going with the current form, I will not say that Sri Lanka is weaker when compared to Afghanistan. The latter do have some world class spinners. But they are very weak, when it comes to pacers and batsmen. On the other hand, Sri Lanka has a much more balanced side, and most of their players are in great form now. The only negative for Sri Lanka is the absence of their star spinner Wanindu Hasaranga. And now getting back to the Afghanistan vs Bangladesh match, I would say that the Bongs are solid favorites to win, and thereby gain entry to the Super-4 stage.

Lmao. This cracked me up. I cannot believe that we might not get to watch this hyped up match just because of rain. A reserve day would have done wonders and should be considered thanks to the anticipation for it.

Bookie odds aren't always reliable. If anything, betting on Pak with those odds is a value bet since the odds should be lower.

Bangladesh's match with Afghanistan will be more challenging.  Sri Lanka was a weak team against Bangladesh.  Meanwhile, Afghanistan is a better team than Sri Lanka, so it will be more difficult for Bangladesh to face Afghanistan. Bangladesh is often seen losing easy matches, losing against Sri Lanka is another example. But how they will play against Afghanistan is still doubtful. Yeh absolutely at that time such things has no value as those will win who control thier nevers in pressure condition and preform well, but one things that we should understand that it's not a T20 format where few dot balls or few important dismissal will change the entire situation, Even so each team will have a decent time to recover himself after any trouble situation and build a significant partnership which really blow up thier Total target. While each and every player of both team has ability to control the situation and turn it down to thier win side, so currently predicting any things is meaningless, but one major things that could create trouble that will be rain which will ruined entire match joy.

2nd match with Bangladesh will be with Afghanistan it will be another chance for Bangladesh if Bangladesh can use this chance they will be able to play in the next stage but if Bangladesh is not able to do that then they will be eliminated from this year's Asia Cup. It can be said that Bangladesh can win the match against Afghanistan, but if they play like that then they will not be able to play this year's Asia Cup. So this will be the last chance for Bangladesh

Everyone eagerly waits to watch Pakistan vs India match in Asia Cup. And this match is the main attraction of the Asia Cup. And the match is very competitive. And the political rivalry between these two countries made the match all the more exciting.

Bangladesh lost the match due to his bad batting performance but their bowling performance was very good they picked early wickets and built pressure on Sirlinka. I think Tamim Iqbal should included in playing 11 because he is only player who plays long innings according to the match situation and Tamim is the only Bangladeshi batter that Score Centery in Sirlinka. Last Night Shanto scored 88 runs just 11 runs short of his well deserved century. Bangladesh will come back in the Next Match Against Afghanistan. Tomorrow is a big match between Pakistan and India everyone is excited about the match but weather conditions are not good 90% chance of Rain.
