I do not think that both teams are equal or have equal chances of winning. Check the odds and you will find that bookies are favouring India to win this match and the difference in odds between the two teams is too much.



If we see the odds alone, it would suggest that India will win this one sided match. However, it will depend on tomorrow who will take the pressure off this big match and turn out to be a better team.

Pakistan vs India is the toughest match of the Asia Cup to watch as an interesting match for cricket fans. Cricket fans are most interesting to watch this match as both the teams are quite strong. And these two countries are eternal rivals due to which the most competitive match in the game of cricket is also the oldest. And I observe the batting line and bowling line of both the teams and it is seen that the two teams are almost close. Just waiting for this match to start tomorrow and I haven't placed a bet yet. It's hard for me to guess between the two teams, because I haven't guessed yet which team will win.

After losing every important match, when the captain will be asked what is the reason behind the loss of this match, the captain will answer the questions of the reporters and say that if we could have scored more than 20 to 50 runs, then we could have won this match.  

"Our bowlers have done well enough. If the batsmen could have played with responsibility, this match would have been in our favour. Another thing Bangladeshi captains have in common is that they will learn from every match and apply that learning in the next match but we have yet to see in which match they will apply it. Bangladesh conceded defeat against Sri Lanka but what lessons did Bangladesh learn from this match which they will use in the next match. Bangladesh must drop such excuses, we could have won with a few more runs, the wicket bowling was helpful, the batsmen did not do well, we will do better in the next match and we should focus on our own performance only then improvement is possible.

Yes, rain is coming but this is not a piece of good news because we can only see Pakistan vs India in the tournaments and minimum 2 to 3 times in a single year, and if it is raining, it's very wrong for cricket fans.

We have to see who will win. The weather forecast indicates rain interruption and if it happens then it won't be a 100 overs contest but around 60-70 and if everything goes south then 20-20 overs.

This Bangladesh team has the potential to perform much better, especially when it comes to their batting. They have the capability to score a few more runs and make the match more exciting. However, it's cricket and anything can happen. As for the India-Pakistan rivalry, it's just is over-hyped, just because of politics rather than purely sporting ones.

Lol. By that logic, India should have won a ton of cups by now. ICC rankings don't really matter much in high-stakes international tournaments like this cup, World Cup etc.

Both India and Pakistan have equal chances of winning(50:50). Hope it turns out to be a great encounter.

Lol. 200 runs wouldn't be enough since Sri Lanka looked like they could still chase it down easily. 250 would have been a competitive target making the match far more interesting in my opinion.

Right brother if Bangladesh had succeeded in scoring 200 runs or more then there was much chance to win this match easily because if we see the SL score dashboard then they scored 165 runs in 39 overs and 11 overs were left then there was a tough match both of them. I believe that this match would be an interesting than the previous one Pak vs. NE. Now I am waiting for the next match between Pakistan and India. Both teams are good and strong. It is difficult to predict which one win the third match of the Asia Cup. I always supported Pakistan and still believe that PAK will win the match.

Series goes series comes the circus of BCB selectors continues in the field game it is proved again and again that there was a mistake in the selection. In almost every series, if a cricketer is injured or ill, the team sees darkness in their eyes, but Minhajul Abedin and Nannu don't have to be held accountable. Liton is said to be the main hope of the Tiger batting line, but the whole team is in a very bad condition due to fever and being knocked out of the Asia Cup. First of all wicket keeper Mushfiqur has no backup, all batsmen from number one to four are left-handed elephants. Which makes the plan of the opponent quite easy. India and Pakistan will play their first Asia Cup match. As we know Pakistan is on the top no. 1 position in ICC ranking so Pakistan has the chances to win this match. So let's see who will win. I hope Pakistan will win the match and will level up itself in the points table.

For India and Pakistan, a win against each other is much more important than the cup itself. And they haven't met on an ODI for years now,
Statistically, Pakistan is the top ODI team at the moment and it's one of their best teams of this decade. All of this Asia cup holding debacle and the existing controversies around ICC and IPL means it would be a heated competition watched my many with interest.

The way Bangladesh started there Asia Cup journey its very much clear that they are not interested in making it to super 4. Bangladesh would have been bowled out before 100 if Najmul Hossain Shanto had not scored 89 runs. Now if Afghanistan beat Bangladesh then they have more chances of making it to super 4.

The Asia Cup match that is at the center of interest is the third match of the Asia Cup between Pakistan and India. India vs Pakistan match is a different type of excitement where there is no way to predict which team will win. The XI announced by Pakistan last time against Nepal is undoubtedly Pakistan's best XI and against India Pakistan may go with the unchanged squad. I am just waiting to see the fast bowling line-up attack of both the teams as both the teams have fast bowling units but neither team is less than that. Shaheen Afridi Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah will lead Pakistan's fast bowling and Md Shami Mohammad Siraj and Jasprit Bhomra may lead India's fast bowling.

Bangladesh team's Nazmul Hasan Shanto is the only good batting performance. But he was not helped by enough reverse batting. I mean since Nazmul Hasan Shanta almost every batsman was out so his pair was needed at least. Mushfiqur Rahim could not provide any support on behalf of the Bangladesh team but left the field after collecting only a few runs. The Sri Lankan team is very good in this regard. The two batsmen Asalanka and Sadeera took the Sri Lankan team to the top of the victory as their pair entered the field for a long time and scored huge runs. If such a pair would have survived for Bangladesh with Nazmul Islam Shant, then Bangladesh would have been the target of a big run.

Everyone is waiting for the big match tomorrow. Both India and Pakistan can qualify to the Super-4 even if they lose tomorrow's match. But winning it will be a prestige issue for both the teams. And therefore both of them are fielding full-strength squads. Ishan Kishan will be keeping the wickets for India, but they also have Sanju Samson as the reserve player. The only one who is going to miss out is KL Rahul, who hasn't yet fully recovered from injury. And it will be interesting to watch Shreyas Iyer in action, as he had been out of action for more than 6 months.

I think Sirlinka played very well his bowling performance was outclassed that why he restricted Bangladesh to under 170 runs especially Pathirana bowling who took 4 crucial wickets for Sirlinka. While its is bowling pitch bowl spinning too much but Bangladesh is 50 runs short of its total if they make 220 plus then Bangladesh have a chance to win this match. Although Bangladesh fight well and picked 5 wickets C harith Asalanka and Sadeera Samarawickrama nade fifties to take Sri Lanka home first Asia Cup win. Tomorrow Pakistan vs India big match of the Asia Cup both teams are very strong.

In my point of view both teams played well. Because if Bangladesh didn't make much runs but see that they got 5 wickets of Srilankan team and this is also a good achievement. And also pull them to 39 overs. If Bangladesh makes 250 runs so this would not be easy to chase by Srilanka.

By the way we have a big match tomorrow. I am waiting for it. Being a Pakistani I am in the favor of Pakistan. So let's see what the Pakistan will do.?  

As you know, Bangladesh is playing with some new youngsters and missing some good players like Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das. I believe Sri Lanka was the favorite host in this match, but we expected some between those teams. It's a failure of top-order batters. Even though we do not expect runs from tail-enders, they did worse, too. Bangladesh could have scored at least 220 on this surface.

Bangladeshi bowlers could have created more pressure on Sri Lanka because the pitch was bowling-friendly. They started very well, but they could not keep the pressure ON. Looking forward to the next match.

Sirlinka won this match by 5 wickets and chase down the 165 runs target in 39 overs.  While chasing down the target after 2 early wickets fall of Srilanka then Sadeera Samarawickrama played a good inning of 54 runs in 77 balls and along with Charith Asalanka also played a very sensible inning scoring half century of 62 runs unbeaten in 92 balls and helped his team to this victory. Matheesha Pathirana is the player of the match for his amazing performance picking important 4 wickets by Just giving 32 runs in 7.4 Overs. I think Bangladesh batsman just short 70 runs if the target is 220 plus then the match will be more interesting

The fact is that the Bangladeshi bowlers did not bowl worse than the Sri Lankan bowlers but the run target for Bangladesh was very insignificant which was not possible for the Bangladeshi bowlers to control at all.

If the batting of Bangladesh could have given a run target above 250 then it would have been possible for the Bangladeshi bowlers to control it. However, it has become difficult to confirm Bangladesh's knockout stage.
Sri Lanka must beat Afghanistan and Bangladesh must draw with Afghanistan. This equation will become much tougher for Bangladesh as currently Bangladesh is in worse form than Afghanistan.
