Very true. One sided matches are usually boring as hell which is why these neck to neck matches are just what viewers require though the T-20 format elevates this excitement to another level.

I hope the upcoming Asia Cup and World Cup can deliver many such matches to make them memorable.

Pakistan Vs Afghanistan 3rd ODI
The 3rd T20 match between Pakistan and Afghanistan was played today at 2:30 PM. I think Pakistan will make 2 changes in Squad Suod Shakkel and Tayyib Tahir will be played today and make an Odi debt. Faheem Ashraf may also play if any fast bowler Naseem or Shaheen Shah Rested Today. Suod Shakeel will replace Agha Suleman in the 3rd and Final ODI match he is a great player. Muhammad Nawaz will also play instead of Usama Mir. If the Pakistan team wins this match Pakistan is on top ICC ranking posting. But the Afghanistan team strongly came back to avoid a whitewash in the Series. I hope Pakistan will win this series with lead of 3-0.

Pakistan vs Afghanistan

So today is the third and the last ODI match. As all of you know that Pakistan already won the series with 2-0. And I think that today Pakistan will win the match. And Pakistan will win the series with 3-0. And Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah will show their power today. So let's see who will win? Smiley

Match will start in few hours and it's not fair to say that Pakistan will win the match keeping in view the drama in last ODI. Both teams have equal chances of winning the game. Pakistan is right now number 2nd in ICC ODI ranking and they can move to number 1 if they won the series 3-0. Pakistan must keep in mind that Afghanistan will do everything to win today's game.

The final match would've got more expectation if Afghanistan have won the previous match. In such situation both the teams could've won one match each and today's match could've been the decider. Based on what you've said, for Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah to show their power toss needs to be won by Pakistan. Afghanistan gave an unexpected competence in the last match, and this time anything could happen. Anyhow I don't think this to be a one sided match.

Banning would be an overreaction but giving a penalty of 6 runs would be amazing but i think ICC is looking for some big controversy in some important match, similar to 2019 WC final.
✂✂✂✂

I was actually going to type "warning", but incorrectly typed as "banning".. sorry for that. Now it is being assumed that bowlers need to warn the batsmen for stepping outside the crease (some of the bowlers do that, for the "spirit of the game", while others stick to the rule and run them out). So if there is a need to warn the batsmen, then it should be the duty of the umpire to do that. And I like the idea of deducting 6 runs as penalty. I was actually thinking about a penalty of 1 run, but then it won't be enough to stop this practice of getting undue advantage.

Somehow against Pakistan, Afghanistan manages to bring out its best and worst brain fade moments at the same time. that's why these 2 teams produce nice thrillers quite regularly. Pakistan also plays a big role in it by playing some village cricket.

Overall it's good that we are seeing a fair amount of rivalries in the subcontinent. Pak vs Ind, Pak vs Afg, SL vs Ban (Naagin dance), or in some extent Ind vs Ban. These match-ups will provide blockbusters from time to time.
The parts that I highlighted made me laugh out loud. Pakistan bowling improved a lot, but their batting is still medicore while Afghanistan are the new chokers in the world of cricket these days.

Also, I remember the whole controversy between Lanka and Bongs which was hilarious to say the least.

This also means that it is the most difficult decision to bet on the matches where these two teams are playing. Since we never know if they will perform well or sometimes while they are looking to win easily, will choke and the result will be changed altogether.

However, due to both team's unpredictable nature of performances, you will get to see a lot of enjoyment while watching their matches.

No trick or controversy IMO. Nonstriker was dumb enough to leave the crease way too early. Clearly, Shadab was taking an unnecessary advantage and not a small one.

Good to see bowlers now have the courage to run out striker and that should be the norm but so called guardians of cricket cry about the spirit of the game and their lackey rally behind them.

Too much drama regarding Mankading going on. First of all, ICC should clarify the rules. The rules are somewhat clear, but there is a lot in the grey zone that needs to be eradicated. If the batsmen is getting undue advantage, then it should be the duty of the umpire (and not the bowler) to ban him. Or a better option would be to impose penalty runs on the batting team, in case the batsman at the other end step out even before the ball is being bowled. That would eradicate all this controversy about Mankading.
Rules clearly mention that if non striker is leaving the crease early then the nonstriker runs out automatically comes into the play, as long as bowling action (Release point) is not completed (here comes the awareness from the bowler). In IPL we have examples of both scenarios and it went smoothly as far as on/off field umpiring was concerned (Regarding release point).

Banning would be an overreaction but giving a penalty of 6 runs would be amazing but i think ICC is looking for some big controversy in some important match, similar to 2019 WC final.

Afghanistan should have won this match. In recent times, they have lost too many close matches. Losing a match even after scoring more than 300 runs in an ODI match is inexcusable. I would still say that Afghanistan is performing better than Ireland, but if they want to stay relevant in international cricket, then they need to perform better than this. Until that happens, they will be considered as a tier-2 test nation, at a level that is much below weaker full member nations such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and West Indies.

Afghanistan lost even after doing a Mankad runout. They are only good while playing against Pakistan and there performance against top teams like Australia, NZ and England is still way below average. Majority of Afghanistan cricketers have started cricket in Pakistan before getting selected for Afghanistan. The attitude of Afghanistan players towards is very aggressive and that's something hard to digest.
Thats a wrong perception about Afghanistan team playing agressive against Pakistan team and below average performance against the leading teams. In all its recent matches Afghanistan have played really well, particularly it won against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and in its last encounter against Australia in a T20 match it lost just by 4 runs. I don't see them in that way, if so what to say about the performance in the first ODI. I see Afghanistan is doing well unlike the team and at times disappointing with worst performance.

They just panic and they do it when they think it's the only way to win the match i think its a very Very valid point. Fazalhaq Farooqi know we cannot pick the wicket and win than he make a Mankad and out Shadab khan. I also think these rules should be abolished in cricket.
Yeh it's just like unfair way of dismissal and mostly real sportsmanship legends avoid such things, just like we have a viral video of Chris Gayle who firstly warn England batter of same runout situation rather directly dismissal, Also we have an old video of west indies legend bowler walsh who have a same chance of running out Pakistani batter but he warned him rather than departure him directly. So the point is you should have warned him first and then if he repeat it then you can do a runout.
Anyway it's a great and really important victory for Pakistan because through such victories Pakistan can set thier position on top of ODI top team standing, now after third ODI which will be played tomorrow will confirm the Pakistan dominating ICC ODI table.

Afghanistan played very hard in the second match although they lost the first match unfortunately but in the second match they settled the game very well but Pakistan defended themselves against their strong attack and won the match. So looking at Pakistan's great performance, it is assumed that they will win the third match but it is not a guarantee. Afghanistan have a lot of effort and they can attack Pakistan deeper in the third match but it is doubtful how much it can happen. But it can be assumed that Afghanistan will not be able to overtake Pakistan in this ODI match
Afghanistan's batsmen set a target of 301 runs to Pakistan in what should have been a win for Afghanistan. The bowling is quite strong compared to the batting of Afghanistan so if the batsmen can score 300 runs in a match then the bowlers must try their best to win the match. 227 of Afghanistan's 300 runs came from the opening partnership of the two batsmen. We clearly saw in the first match that if the opening two batsmen do not get good runs, the rest of the team's batsmen cannot get good runs. It can be said that the third match will go in Pakistan's favor if they could not score 300 runs against Pakistan. Afghanistan created a big chance in the second match, hopefully Pakistan will not give Afghanistan such a chance in the third match.

Actually the pitch was completely batting friendly. I can see bowlers almost cannot take advantage of this pitch. You know Pakistan bowlers are also very experienced. However, the performance of the Pakistani bowlers in this match was very poor. Pakistan gave 227 runs to take the first wicket and in the end Pakistan managed to pick up only 5 wickets. Afghanistan should have mustered 340-350 to win on such a pitch, 301 runs was not enough to win.

However, Afghanistan bowlers bowled very well. I can firmly say if not for Shadab Khan's brilliant batting, Afghanistan could have won this match. There is no reason I can blame the Afghanistan bowlers for the loss in this match. However, the final match may be more competitive. However, it is not certain whether Afghanistan will win the final match. I think Pakistan will win the last match as well.

The commentator HD Ackerman, said I don't have a problem with Mankad but why don't any teams do it in 4th or 5th over of the innings of match? Why this way runout only towards the end of if? They just panic and they do it when they think it's the only way to win the match i think its a very Very valid point. Fazalhaq Farooqi know we cannot pick the wicket and win than he make a Mankad and out Shadab khan. I also think these rules should be abolished in cricket. It is only possible then they will be abolished if it happens in the final of the world to the teams like india Australia or England like the boundaries rule in super over got changed in after the world cup. I think this rule will ruled out after world cup Beacuse it’s not a Sportsmanship.
I think Ackerman's comm partner didn't have anything to add to this conversation but a simple counterargument would be.

If nonstrikers started taking this kind of advantage in start regularly (check the video and see how much lead he had) then bowlers would start taking their chances. Also why non strikers always start running like crazy when they are batting with the tail or toward the end? If stealing the yard is not bad then they should continue with this tactic throughout the match.

Fazalhaq Farooqi Last over Tricks but Vained.

Yesterday's match saw a tense situation where Afghanistan fast bowler Fazal Haq Farooqui controversially took the wicket of Shadab Khan in the last over of the innings when Pakistan needed 11 runs. Although this wicket of Fazal Haq Farooqi has made cricket controversial, no one could take this wicket of Shadab Khan happily in tomorrow's match. Shadab Khan in particular was not too happy about losing his wicket, yet he forgot the controversial incident of losing his wicket as Pakistan eventually won the match. The first ball of the last over of the innings, Fazal Haque Farooqui dropped the wicket of Shadab Khan at the non-strike end without delivery. But Naseem Shah, who was on the strike end, eventually won the team to give Pakistan a crucial win.

Pakistan won the 2nd ODI of cricket against Afghanistan but some people say, Afghanistan needs to win this match because they gave the target of 300 in losing 5 wickets. The other side Pakistan lost 9 wickets but Pakistan won the match so this is right but Pakistan's batsman partnership is too good, Imam ul Haq and Babar Azam's partnership score is 118 which helped to win Pakistan. So, what do you think about who wins the third ODI between Pakistan and Afghanistan?
I think Pakistan will win the third match as well .Because their bowlers preform very well in bowling and when it come to batting ,thier bowlers also do very well  in batting. This is the last match between Pakistan and Afghanistan and I think this time Afghanistan will try their best to win this match. If talking about the first match, the prefromance of Pakistan batsman was very poor. But they won because their batsman do not come under the pressure and play with  cool mind.
Afghanistan played very badly in the first ODI but they came in the second ODI and gave Pakistan a target of 300 runs which is quite a good target. But Pakistan played well and surpassed that target to win the second ODI match so their performance looks like they can win the third match as well. But Pakistan won't have to bear any pressure to win the third match as even if they don't win the third match there will be many more than Afghanistan as Pakistan have won both the last two matches.
