I think SEC will get more attention as soon as the Beta is released and posted in the Safe Network forum for people to view/try.

Probably. SEC hasn't been added to polo yet for trading like MAID has. I think once the word gets out more about SEC and it's connection to MAID and the safe network I think it will definitely draw more interest. Being added to polo should help, but there needs to be other marketing strategies in place. I'm not sure what those are specifically but I know there has been some general talk about there being a plan.

Augur is a decentralised Predictions market on Ethereum while Safex is a decentralised contracts market on Safe Network. Both completely different and not competition 2 each other imo.

Not really sure what the differences between them would be more than that Safe Exchange Coin/Safex is supposed to be the first APP of Safe Network.
