What I am planning to do is lower down Maturity to 20 in next version.

Other than that not much could be done as their is no issues I could find with the current code.

I will explain one more time and for last time.

VC pool was running perfectly since I got an E-mail from one of you (miner) saying :

"Hello. Payments don't come with a pool, coin VC.
Your pool is on a fork on a pool unit 19828  in Explorer 19836 block"

Then I checked pool and blockexplorer and both seems to be ok (at same blocks), and I told him that was probably some delay showing blocks count and that payments need to wait for the 2000 blocks mature (I though he is a new miner, and they use to ask for the same thing)

Even he replied to me:
"Yes, now all is well."

Then hi write to me again:

"There is something wrong with the network in Explorer duplicate blocks are.
Of transactions

And I replied:
"Mmm...
I see something is wrong yes..
It seems my pool is not sync with main chain for some strange reason. Now it is 10 blocks under main chain again :/

Ok... I think I'll redo pool to avoid this issues.

When I checked pool again, it was 100 blocks after (further? sry I'm not english) of the main chain and diff was very much lower than main chain.
If that is not a fork, someone please explain me what the hell it was.

Why it happend? I dont know, but was NOT on purpose and that user is active usere here in forum too, so he can confirm all this is true.
I dont have to explain anything else.
This was completly accidental issue , was not dev fault, not my fault and not miners fault, so I'm trying to do the best to compensate all miners.

The problem is when I re-do pool and recompiled daemon and resynced everythink, redis database was lost , and pending payments reseted.
I dont know how much time pool was in fork, but as I can see it was not for long time (less than 2 days), previous mined blocks are slowly comming to old pool's wallet.

What I will do is took the 100% of the old pool wallet and make excel with suposed owed coins to the miners who sent me his wallet and his estimated pending coins.
Then I will do % of every miner and send that % of coins.

Its all I can do to make this as clear as possible.
I repeat, only about 30-40h mining (and payments) has been lost, so I could be worst...

I hope you undestand the situation, and undestand I AM NOT SCAMMING anyone.
I'm doing my best to make everyone happy... but I dont like scam acusations and words like "you owe me 2 BTC + the oportunity of selling at highest price, and you have to pay for missing coins, etc etc..."
Accidents (or shit yes...) happens, and that was not my fault.

If you are not happy with this, I will undestand, and you are free to say or think whatever you want to, but this is exactly what has happen.

I will post google excel later and post pending miner rewars acording the data I have (basically I will trust miners and check logs for past payments to see if it maches what they say)

I already did that days ago. And nothing fixed.All remains the same.

All mining and payments made while pool was in the fork has been lost.
I sent a proof of that to you, as a proof of my actual balances and my plans to pay everyone.

I was going to reopen pool and start making payments, but as far as I see you think I'm scammer and dev thinks I am lying about the fork, I wont do that right now.
I dont have any reason to scam or to lie, and I never did.

At this time I still have to see a fork. The way it was setup, I don't think forking can happen. I have not seen any as well. It just not be possible as DNS is hardcoded in the VirtualCoin code & it has to sync with MasterNode aka SuperNode.

If any one of you got this issue I want to know. Try the above method, all it does it re-validates all blocks mined so far.

Dev, the admin miningpool thinks this solution will not work for him.
He seems reluctant to try the solution you offer.
I've asked him once again to try this and reach out to you to fix the issue once and for all.

I am going to stay away from theminingpool (for this coin and any coin as such) since the admin seems to be sure that this will not work with even trying! If he even makes an attempt to fix this things would I believe he can be trusted. So far unfortunately this hasn't happened.

I am sorry that in the bargain the coin may suffer temporarily, but I am sure it will regain all the lost ground and be even stronger.

Please follow this...


stop wallet and...
%APPDATA%\VirtualCoin\virtualcoin-qt.exe -reindex -port=443 -connect=199.175.49.196

(if you have 443 issue, just do -port=30000, but I recommend against this, stick with 443)

Once finished sync till current block.
stop & start your virtualcoin-qt.exe you normally use without (-reindex & -connect=199.175.49.196)

I can again confirm I am unable to see any fork & fork is not possible on VirtualCoin the way it is currently setup.
VirtualCoin wallets starts & use DNS to connect to SuperNode & only SuperNode carries master key. If ever their becomes 2 chains, SuperNode decides which one is the valid. Rest of the wallets follow SuperNode for direction (this is all automated process).

Again, if you are unable to see your coins in your wallet, but do see in blockexplorer, that means your wallet is having issues.

If pool sends payments but unable to see in block explorer that means Pool wallet is the one with issues.

Sorry to hear guys, I checked with block explorer AND SuperNode. Both were sync with each other.
Reindex just to make sure.
Confirmed 100% correct both SuperNode & Block Explorer.

Since I was travelling I couldn't capture the round details for 2+ days (to be precise, I have details till round 19082 and then directly 19936 after I came back). And again, round details missing for blocks 20200 till 20251. Plus some blocks that showed up a few hrs ago aren't visible now on ur payments page (to be precise from block 20192 to 20199 were available earlier and are not seen now on ur payments page).

The number of confirmations would vary as I copy round details multiple times a day, at times every 10 or 15 mins.
