Yeah im not sure, I can see my public and private keys inside jaxx and even export them if i want but im just not clear where they are actually sitting?

If they are on the USB stick I have jaxx on? If i unplug that from the pc is it safer than it being on my desktop all  the time?

I think that saved is a kind of token code or private key from your account that has been encrypted. And effective or not, depending on you save your wallet file. This is just my opinion Smiley
