There was only about 15 to 20 bitcoin in the wallet. I just got a message back from the dedicated service provider and it seems they can't reboot the server.  They get File Not Found and then it goes to the GRUB prompt.  I am still waiting to hear from the VPS.  If it is the same, I am boned.  The backup wallet was on the VPS. It would also mean that both servers where hacked.  Either way, I don't have any time to rebuild the free server.  I think I wasted enough money on this project by now.  Please suggest remidiation solution for lost bitcoins.

Tell them to mail you the hard drive so you can run some forensic analysis on it.

Something is very wrong.  I have two separate servers from two different service providers and both of them won't let me even connect to them through SSH. One is a VPS that I use for DNS and experimenting. The other one is the Pool and Web server.  Both are down. Support tickets have been submitted for both servers.

I hope you have the wallet offline and some offsite copy of the database...

The clean page from Apache wasn't looking good...

Looks like DNS server is down.  I won't be able to fix it until I get home from work. Sorry.

Litecoin payouts working again.

Bitcoin P2pool is paying out better since the last upgrade.  Average PPS over the last week was 0.00003032 BTC. Mathmatical PPS at this difficulty is .00002895 BTC. That is about a 5% advantage.

p2pool has had a streak of good luck recently.

http://p2pool.info/

I did some math last night.  With my 5 g/hs, I get about 3btc a day PPS from ozcoin.

To get that from p2pool, it has to get 4 blocks a day.  With estimated time of completion at 7hrs+/block, luck has to be really good ALWAYS to be equal to ozcoin.

Right now p2pool is on a 15 hour block. Sad

Payouts for litecoin will commence once I fund the wallet again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Upgraded p2pool on the litecoin server and increased share difficulty.

Cheers.

Sorry I missed something. I have cgminer miner pointing at you correctly. Trying to set up Namecoin. But it is not accepting the Namecoin address.

What is "Signature (sign the Namecoin address with your bitcoin address):"

Is this the mining address? If so is that unsafe?

But anyway tried it and still could not set up NameCoin.

Phil
I can set up namecoin, but I still have no idea what the hell that gibberish is referring to on the 'register merged mining' section, so I guess I'll be giving it a pass.

I use a Hetzner server, 42 euros for 16GB RAM, 2x3TB HDD's, core i7-2600 quad core, up to 10 TB of 100mbps/100mbps on a 1gbit port (i haven't tried to upload anything really, but you can download at 100MB/s, anyway, so it utilizes that one gigabit port).

Oh, it also comes with that nice 2-week refund policy, courtesy of some german law.

I hope you get I0coin running, its a nice supplument to the main bitcoin income and really adds up to some extra BTC when traded over longer periods of time. I dont want to sacrifice pool stability, but I0coin and other merged mining is a real plus of this pool. Thanks for the good work.

Stopping I0coin merged mining.  I think this is the culprit of the pool instability.  If this proves true, I will suspend it indefinitely.
