Before making a deposit into an exchange, I always pay attention to the minimum deposit amount, minimum withdrawal amount and the withdrawal fees to avoid such scenarios. Have you tried to ask them that if you added more BTC to the deposit address, they would then credit your account the total amount of BTC which was deposited, including the amount that did not meet the minimum deposit requirement?
When you're used to depositing on an exchange with no minimum deposit then you use an exchange with a minimum deposit you will be disappointed when you deposit with no awareness of it.
Happened to me on an old exchange, I understand the feeling it's a big disappointment that they will not do anything but I'm sure you can move on to this and be better next time like I did.
After my experience, I always make sure about the minimum deposit and the address I would not want to experience this again no one would.

We have discussed about it before on this forum. Binance has the lowest minimum deposit. Other exchanges like Kucoin, Bybit and others has low minimum deposit also but not as low as Binance with 1 sat as the minimum deposit when it was discussed on this forum but which is now 2 sat. It is 600 sat for legacy addresses.
Some poeple are scammed because of the high minimum deposit on OKX which was 0.0005 BTC at the time. I thought someone posted about it when bitcoin price was over $70000. The person deposited $35 on OKX but what happened to you happened to the person and he was unable to get his money.
This also happened to a friend of mine. What I am still just not happy about is that you will not be the last person this will happen to.

Recently experienced this on OKX I was planning to use the funds for buying dogs because the amount of dogs I have for holdings is not enough the mistake I did is that I forgot to unfreeze one of the UTXO on my Electrum wallet then made a transaction and set it to maximum and confirm it right away but didn't notice that I sent a pretty small amount below the minimum. I think It's around $20 in BTC which is not enough to be credited to my OKX account.
I tried to contact them many times and requesting to forward me to devs or the one who control of our wallet to request for refund minus the transaction fee but they said there's no way to refund the BTC.
This is how they scam me I think I'm going to move to another exchange which is way more better than OKX.
