No! The stats page lifetime shares have doubled, at least!
I'm at 4M shares, when I was at 1.8M last night! That's some hashing that I don't think I can pull off! Wink

Wow! Is something wrong with the lifetime shares? We should be at about 10mil shares so far this round! Cheesy

I think you mean last round, that was the terrible beast....

With the current threat of an SC meltdown, I will be taking the SC pool offline at block 35250.

I will bring it back up once the new client is released.
This means everyone back to BTCs for a few weeks.

I think SC has caused this pool more harm than benefit with all of the issues that client crashing has had on the BTC pool.

Maybe..... or it could have been the 6million share round, or one of many things.

It did lock pushpool, and eventually lock the bitcoin client with it. However, there were some high donations made by the solidcoin miners. The pool almost looked profitable for a minute there. The steady feed of solidcoins helped my variance during the round from hell as well.

I'll most likely support solidcoins again once the network returns. If the new client is troublesome I can just put it on a different box.

Plus, if we could get their hashes over to the BTC pool...

www.simplecoin.us is up. Thanks. its not like the old days. 24+ hours for dns to propagate

Yes, all the www/replication services are on one machine now. 3 old servers were replaced by the new one. It was nice to finally decommission the others. Renting 6 servers is pricey.

Is the sire down/being moved to the new one?

It is moved. godaddy had a dns blip on www when I moved it back momentarily.

If www.simplecoin.us doesn't work simplecoin.us should. Both will be back once dns propagates.

At least until I have other coins available Wink

I'm writing a lightweight pool proxy as we speak.

This new framework is going to be a beast.

YAY!

Now to find this guppy character and give him his 3dmark reward!

Hopefully now that the round from hell is over we can get this pool back to growing.

The new frontend is getting closer every day....

Moving some of the websites to their new home. The forum has already been moved.

I'll leave the old ones up for a few days for DNS to propagate. If you get any strange website errors, it's likely that it is just moving pains.

It should go without a hitch, but just thought I'd keep you all informed.

So now that the forum is back we can go back to complaining about not finding a block.

At least the solidcoin pool isn't having the same luck.... damn, we need some ultra-luck... like 5-back-to-back blocks.

Ok. My internet is back.

The solidcoin 1.04 client just doesn't want to play nice with pushpool...... It's back up.

UPDATE: seems memcached is acting up, not so much pushpool.

yes, memcached is zombied. Forcing server reboot, should only be a minute.

UPDATE2: Back up and running full steam.

I am still getting periodic disconnects and stuff. Are you still having solidcoin issues?

There was a hardware server restart, it kickstarted the old monitor I had up, which killed solidcoin. That said the client is still buggy. I'm going to modify the new 1.10 beta shortly and pray that it is more reliable.
