If Rise raises $1 Million dollars before I jump in I will double my planned investment.  Cheesy

I will put around 30btc if they hit the $1million mark as well.

It will happen

Why does RISE have no subreddit ? it would give him a solid boost in popularity and a good place to exchange between users

We do actually!

Technical Questions:

1. How do you plan to "mount" (shoehorn) desktop graphical user interface on top of web-based node.js backend ?
2. Will it speak to local docker container, or to remote full node ?
3. Will it be based on Qt ? Gtk ? Something else ?
4. How will mobile GUI speak to node.js ?
5. How will language bindings work ? (python will speak via TCP/IP to node.js ? Or somehow else ?)
6. Why the foundation of Rise is based on Lisk, as opposed, to, say, Ethereum ?
(Ethereum already has language bindings, will lacks desktop GUI and lacks side-chains...)
Is it simpler to extend Lisk compared to Ethereum ?

1. Electron by Github, or NWJS
2. Ideally it’ll talk to a locally running server
3. Initially, Angular.JS, shortly after launch, we will be switching it over to ReactJS
4. Mobile will connect through to a remote node via API.
5. Python will speak to node via REST API in a python wrapper (SDK)
6. There was less work to do, easier to strip out the things we didn’t like, than add major things like sidechains
7. We aren’t really extending, but Javascript is a very easy language to work with, and the team is very experienced in Javascript.

Where is the source code ?
Do you have testnet nodes up & running ?
Can we look at it ?

Daily Dev Update (From Monday)
Related Blog Post

Hello All, sorry for the lapse in Daily Dev Updates, end of last week was kind of hectic for me, as I had a couple of graduations for family members to attend, a meeting in Boston, and a few other things going on. From here on out, things will be back to normal, with Monday through Friday daily dev updates, and consistent progress.

First Up, Testnet / Mainnet switchover. This will be happening sooner rather than later, and I wanted to make sure everyone knew what was going to happen.

Once Mainnet is up, testnet will continue to function as a bleeding-edge version of the mainnet, running it's own blockchain. It will be updated every time we push code to the Master branch on bitbucket. This will always be a single node, it will not be load balanced, as it is for testing only. We will be configuring Faucet, so you no longer need to ask us for test coins. This should make things easier going forward.

There has been a bit of debate on weither or not to supply a Rise Vision run set of Wallet UIs. This is still in discussion amoungst us, If you have an opinion, please feel free to hop into our slack channel and let us know.

Speaking of Slack, yes, we now have a slack channel. It is RiseVision and you can get your own invite at slack.rise.vision.

Finally, we will have some announcements regarding Rise Vision Foundation's incorporation and structure later this week.

Thanks for the daily update Justin. You are one of the best dev out there and we hope you bring this coin on top of the others  Wink

Good morning everyone!

Please retweet this https://twitter.com/RiseVisionTeam/status/742684325813030913

And fill out the poloniex coin request form posted in the tweet. This will help our chances with getting added as close to the release of mainnet as possible.  Wink

So people... rise is looking good. As it stands current investment is about 780 btc which translates to just over 500 000 usd. That said, the current price per rise is around 0.005 usd per coin. If we can see rise double before launch, resulting in a 0.01 usd entry point,  this coin has some serious potential for growth.
