Bought a few on Cryptsy. It took 20 withdrawals to get the CSC to my wallet.

Atleast we can say that CSC withdrawals work. It's little complicated but still working.

This is why the price is getting driven up... same as all the other alts on their. People are desperate to get their bitcoin out...

CasinoCoin price is driven up by the fact that it's going to be the only altcoin with a real life purpose! Just read the thread if something is unclear. Ofcourse there's people who use it to get BTC out of Cryptsy, but I think it's really small %.

I do not agree with you ... at least not entirely.

If casinocoin able to be associated to the casinos "FIAT" then it will be the best currency following the BitCoin (in my opinion, BTC will always be "gold", the reference for all other virtual currencies).

Funny, if casinocoin associated with "PRYPTO" cards, I think even we can say that is no longer "virtual" (after all we will be able to pick up a card in hand and ....)

However there are still many "ifs"

symptoms in cryptsy to me, are more associated with people desperate to withdraw cash. Speculators with BOTs (easy to see, analyzing the graphs of cryptsy last days and saw them keep a kind of balance between volume of purchases and sales. There is a lot of movement, but there is no blatant imbalance in favor of shopping, just increase prices ...

and also think people are sick of speculation, the hypocrisy of virtual currencies if being deceived by all kinds of rumors (myself included)

That said, I personally am interested in CasinoCoin but not go into competition with BOTs. I have money stuck in cryptsy but is seen to retire in amounts of 0.01btc takes a few hours, 0.02btc takes 1 day, if CSC go again down, well, here it takes 5 minutes to me withdraw.

These are just my thoughts, I don't want influence anyone. and of course I could be very wrong ... if I'm wrong, also want to know and learn more.

And it keeps going up to the moon. I bet that next year would be one where the price of each CSC would be even higher than it is right now. I expect to see prices from 1 to 2 USD.  Grin

DUDE please listen to me and go and check out what is happening in Cryptsy. DOGE is 30% over priced because you can withdraw it. So is NXT and so are other alt coins.

Right now as we speak the price increase is not just because of what you said (true or not)

Im not saying bad things thats just the truth. Look at the price differences for CSC on cryptsy and other exchanges Smiley

Actually i think it's a pretty conservative estimate of the growth potential that is possible in the near future. We'd likely already be there if cyptsy hadn't started having such severe deposit/kyc isues 6 - 8 weeks ago. This curtailed a lot of the new BTC that was coming into the coin.

For whatever reason, people keep trading CSC around $0.024 USD. That is basically going to end up like a game of musical chairs and some people will be left behind in the dust. Anyway, I suspect that we'll see a trading range materialize at $0.25 increments all the way up to $1.00+ during 2016.

With regard to the fiat deal coming there are some subtleties that probably have not been explained so well. For example, there was some reference to the venture being called an "affiliate marketing program". The reasoning for this wasn't really explained, but my understanding is that there is a difference in how gambling laws may apply to affiliate marketing programs and methods of direct funding for online gambling. I think a lot of this will become more clear once the service is officially launched and gamingcoins is ready to make a very detailed disclosure. The program is very well positioned to open markets which are currently closed to fiat online gambling which utilize direct funding methods. Very cool stuff and so much more than just peddling some gift cards.

Think about this:

Imagine you live in America. All direct funding methods such as credit cards, bank transfer, checks, paypal, etc have been closed off to you for the last 8 years. However, now you can buy a CSC backed point card or a casino can purchase them and distribute them as promotional gifts. These can be deposited to a casino or to a wallet, which you can take to an exchange. All of this abstracts the direct funding problem away from fiat casinos that really have no viable solution right now and has the strong potential to bring gaming back into these types of closed markets. Government can't really block the independent sale of a CSC gift card itself without generally banning crypto and they can't block you from depositing it or cashing it in at a casino or exchange either. CSC is really built for this task much better than BTC too because no casino wants their customer to wait up to several hours for a deposit to confirm before they can play. CSC helps casinos maintain the whole "impulse gambling" opportunity that exists when a player makes a deposit because they want to play immediately as well.

Really, really cool stuff. So tell me - You think $0.25 in January seems high? hehe I think we have a very good shot indeed if people really start to understand what's going on.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. For me It made picture definately clearer.

It seems this page might help describe what to do for missing DLL's.

I read it but not sure.

http://jietovip.com/questions/1916497/qt-4-8-application-run-time-error-side-by-side

I ran that dependency checker and those are most of the DLL's that are missing. I already have that MS application installed
Ok seems we found the problem. Older machines or OS could cause the issue. We now use Qt Quick for all those nice GUI features but that causes the wallet to only work properly on OpenGL versions of 2.0 and above. See if you can upgrade your graphics driver as that solved the issue for others. You can use OpenGL Viewer to check your version http://download.cnet.com/OpenGL-Extensions-Viewer/3000-18487_4-34442.html

The only time i saw that same issue with missing graphics was before we started building it statically. However it seems that older windows version are missing some libraries that newer windows versions have installed standard. My problem is that i can not reproduce it currently and a debug Qt version of the wallet that would output some more info is arround 200 Mb big. One other issue i saw on some machines had to do with openssl. Could you try and install openssl libraries from: https://slproweb.com/download/Win32OpenSSL-1_0_2e.exe and retry?

BTW, here's a little history on credit cards and online gambling in the USA. This excerpt is from a website for online gambling addiction interestingly enough, but it really gives a good picture of why America remains an untapped market. http://addiction.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Funding_Gambling_Addiction_with_Credit_Cards

*******************
What the Credit Card Companies Are Doing
In 2002, Citibank banned use of Citibank credit cards from online gambling venues. In 2003, ten more banks made the outstanding decision to ban online gambling with their bank-issued credit cards. In fact, most major credit card companies and banks have since followed suit.

The goal is to stop the prevalence of online gambling and for credit card issuers to stop lawsuits. About nine years ago, a lady named Cynthia Haines may have single handedly started the trend of blocking credit card use for online gambling. In the 1990s, Haines spent $70,000 on internet gambling using her credit cards. Haines was than sued by her credit card company, Providian, for her unpaid credit card bills. Haines turned around to sue Visa and MasterCard for allowing her to place the gambling bets in the first place. According to Haines, Visa and MasterCard were promoting illegal activity.

There are so many issues wring with a case like this that it's hard to know where to start. Haines exhibits classic, "It's not my fault" mentality towards the situation. In numerous reports, she claims to not have a online gambling addiction. One lesson from this situation is that obviously there are individuals who try to get out of the responsibility of owning up to an addiction. The second is that credit card companies who allow for online gambling may be held at fault. Haines did manage to settle with her creditors, but it rocked the online use of credit cards for gambling purposes - probably for the better.

Here's another good article from 2014 on banks disallowing CC and debit card transactions for online gambling:

This site has info for US gamblers on how to fund their gambling. Be forewarned, this site looks like it was designed by a 3 year old: http://vegasclick.com/online/deposits

This week we seemed to have gone from 3900 to 8600. So who are the fools who keep selling coins at these prices?

Yup keep buying them still dirt cheap Smiley

By the looks of it, maybe CasinoCoin would get to be worth more than 1 USD in the future. So now it is the perfect time to dig in and buy a bunch of them for Xmas! I would probably have over 10 thousand CSC by that time.  Smiley

Well, the short term target is 8 - 10x from where we are now. I'd like to see this by first week of January personally. How quickly we get there is basically dependent on how many coins we can remove from the traders that are keeping this in a range right now.

We can see the book on cryptsy up to 13500 this morning. When you can see that far into the book, usually the coin makes a decent rally soon.
