It seems that this here by the forum, is with the moral down.

Let's get back to being enthusiastic, talking, exchanging points of view.

I know a lot of people come here, but just read, and do not participate ...

Wishing Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, it still does not cost 1 CSC, and it shows great respect ... everyone likes to receive these compliments .. (I like ...)

It always helps to have more faith in the human being at least ..

How can I pass this forum to my friends, if afterwards they pass here and say that this is dead?

Let's raise the morale !!!

Hash rate spike again  Cheesy
Have you noticed that 1btc buying csc will 4fold csc value? Crazy days... 10k could be true once the anouncements come next week Shocked

I really would like to know where you get your numbers from, because on Alcurex, it will take >13BTC to take the price to 10,000 sat.

And who said that there will be any announcements next week?

It would be much better if there was some realism and measured optimism on this board, rather than this constant bullshit "hashrate up!" (which I already explained is due to automated miners moving in as mining CSC becomes profitable in $ terms due to BTC price rise), "announcement tomorrow/next week/next month".

Prypto/DWS have developed a closed loop AML/KYC compliant casino payment solution utilising the CSC blockchain. So much is clear. Do they have any customers?  Not yet. Will they have any customers next week, next month, ever?  Nobody knows, so let them get on with it and wait patiently.

Nice update! Thanks! Any news about the first customer(s)?
Thanks

Out of respect for GC and his partners/customers, I can't really say anything that specific at this time. However, I can say that they've asked us to be ready to distribute additional information. That being said, everything that I've seen looks very positive.

I would like to solo mine casino coin. I have gridseed blades with a raspberry pi running minera right now. Can anyone give me some help.

Refer back to "solo mine" instructions on the OP - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/oldcsccasinocoin-a-digital-currency-for-the-regulated-online-gaming-sector-616792. At this point with gridseeds probably better off trying one of the pools listed there.

They may have a great payment solution, but until any casinos actually start using it, it is meaningless.

Exactly, this is why we have secured the casinos before making any PR noise outside this forum.

This forum was only to inform why we purchased so many CSC in the first place to give background on what we were up to and obviously this has interest so we have kept information flowing.

Our timelines are simply due to restrictions, we can only work at the pace set by those who influence.

We are pleased that we have secured Casinos and the major concerns first.

Can a couple of you do me a favor and confirm the that this code is working. (install it on your dev environment and see that it is functional. It will take like 10 minutes)

https://github.com/CartmanSPC/p2pool

Its xpool.net code, one of your pools. I dare say casinocoins only p2pool node.
I have tried contacting the author of that repo and pool but to no avail just yet.

p2pool nodes are important and i would like to see more p2pool nodes up please.

Also whoever is in charge of updating the op and website. Could you bring all your links into december 2016 thanks. (some sites are non existant even)

Hi there! Sorry for the delayed response. I am not actively involved in anything crypto these days. Everything I've done is in maintenance mode at this point but yes, the code is working.

As far as your question about it connecting to the daemon...make sure there are available connections available. Try stopping the daemon for a bit then starting it back up. Also make sure you are using the right ports (--bitcoind-rpc-port 47970 --bitcoind-p2p-port 47950).

Thanks, my dev enviro is ubuntu 16.04 lts and the cs client is the latest as of 3 days ago. I pulled your code and cant get it to connect to the node.

Its giving that stupid

Code:
...taking a while. Common reasons for this include all of bitcoind's connection slots being used....
(apparently happens when the prefix is incorrect, as you may well already know.) My coin client config has all of the relevant and required settings. It connects to the coin daemon rpcport just fine.

I've checked the pchmessage on the client code and it correlates to your prefix configs. So i have zero clue at this point what is my problem other then something in ubuntu 16.04 preventing a connection. Which is a long shot. Or the new client code preventing p2p communication. Also a long shot in my opinion. or I believe it could be to do with not being able to find your p2p node being that there is like only one of you on the entire network. I've attemtped to add your node but to no avail in terms of the p2pool working

I tried to get a p2pool node up because i believe the project could do with a few more but i cant seem to do it in my environment and wondered if anyone could just take a few minutes to try and re-create my problem or prove that its not happening for them to. Using the newest client code and this p2pool code  https://github.com/CartmanSPC/p2pool

Thanks.

P.S Any chance you could refresh your nodes (p2pool for casincoin and the client for it?)
I did throw some hash at your node but it acted very strangely and wouldn't hash over 1kh/s. Payment for the hash i sent it did show up on the network ledger however.

Here is my version info from the daemon...have not tried updating:

I'm using Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS as CSC was not working with 16 when I last tried...dev said to use 14 but I think I saw some commits that tried to fix that.

Thankyou very much for the info, it helped.

I pulled v2 of the client and it worked so i'm not sure what that means. Problem is i have to change v2 code from csc reward of 10.

I really appreciate the effort and helping me deduce the problem. I don't have a lot of time so i've just put a nomp node together, for solo mining use of course. It at least completes the main goal of adding another node with a bit of hash on it.

I figure its the ubuntu version i'm using. Thanks again.

Well lets see.... but at least the sudden hash rate rally suggests that something might be coming soon. Hasing above 1gh could mean some powerful miners betting on a price spike sooner or later.... i could be wrong....
