@RUDY4682, can you please fix the block explorer?

If possible, expands the list of the richest, to 250 or 300 wallets ....

thanks in advance.

I would like to clarify one thing for everybody. The price run up over several months that resulted in a peak price of about 38k sat was due to accumulation by various people in preparation for the various casino ventures. Once they had accumulated the amount of coins that they desired, they stopped buying. From that point forward the price deteriorated because buy support declined and could not support the miners that were bringing 20k+ coins per day to market. With the price declines and delays, we also saw instances where outside people who had bought coins decided to reduce their CSC holdings from time to time.

The people that bought the coins during the runup are still holding and they probably control more than 80% of the coin supply at this point. Those investors will continue to be long term holders and are targeting profits in the tens of millions of dollars over the next 2 - 3 years on their business that utilize CSC and not just speculating on a runup in the price of the coin. The recent move to reduce the block reward was executed in order to reduce the daily selling pressure from miners who autosell for BTC, to reward those who have been accumulating by creating some price stability at the lower end, and to also ensure that miners will be incentivized to participate in the coin for the next 30 years. Andre called it when he pointed out that it was this or CSC started possibly carrying prohibitive fees to process transactions.

Now given all that, I find it absurd that we have people complaining pugilistically about the price and the devs when they have only been involved since January and maybe hold $200 worth of coins. This is an absolute joke. We have several partners that since last year have put cumulatively several hundred thousand dollars into accumulating coins in preparation for their projects. Every one of them is ecstatic about the recent block reward reduction and their progress on their CSC projects. Not one of them has complained to us about the recent changes. If anything, they have only indicated that they don't want to participate in the BTCT board because they believe a discussion here would not likely be a constructive exercise and would result in more distraction than anything.

You should keep in mind that the people who invested several hundred thousand dollars into accumulating coins over the past year aren't stupid people. They have seen the price decline and it honestly doesn't bother them at all. They are pretty confident that their future profits from the coin and their businesses will completely justify riding out period when the price has declined significantly.

You should also keep in mind that these same people break the block reward situation down in these terms:

With 20k coins coming to market each day, it would have taken 2 BTC each day to absorb that downward pressure at a price of 10k sat. That was a very unsustainable position to be in. At 2000 coins per day, it's a much more reasonable 0.2 BTC to absorb the same type of selling activity. WIth a $650 BTC, $130/day or $47,450/year would be needed to keep the coin balanced and gives the buy and sell sides and equal opportunity to push in either direction. That's much better than needing $1300 or $474.5k/year. The last year was all about accumulating coins, reducing liquidity, reducing the downward pressure on the coin from miners who would cannibalize CSC upticks, and ultimately paving the way for successful launches of several multi-million dollar online gambling projects.

Everything we've been doing for the past 2.5 years has been to create an environment for this coin that makes it possible to get these types of projects off the ground using CSC. The guys behind these projects are the ones that will get this coins to $1, $5, or whatever. It's not a handful of miners who hop on the coin, autosell for BTC, and run off that will get you to $1, $5, or whatever. Only place they will take you is to 0.

Know something....I'm no troll, I'm no fudder......and I've BOTH mined and purchased this coin since January.
i've watched it run in the ground from lack of exchanges, an identity crisis from adding sandcoin.....and now the wallets won't even work.
And seeing miners blamed for the crash of its value....just hurt my feelings...ALOT.
So good luck guys. I've lost $$ on your experiment with a single purpose coin that's really never found its niche.
I'll still look in from time to time because I hold 10k of them...which is not a lot but its gone from a decent value to squat.
So thanks for the memories.
Sounds like you have been buying a lot of CannabisCoin lately (sorry that i am no longer able to take these comments serious anymore).

CasinoCoin
Ajochems, for me, this is not important ... I know that the two marks are interconnected.

I only called attention to the problem of those who need the brand "SandCoins" without reference to casinocoin, can get upset or worse, delay also plans to sandcoins ...

I personally think it's more important wallet for android, than change the casinocoin words by sandcoin (if so so simple, we hope ....)
OK i will check again on a clean enviroment and rebuild if necesary, ... maybe i have my machine messing things up

@Ajochems, did You find the problem?
Not yet, ... i created a new clean Windows 10 VM and downloaded the SandCoins setup from github. When i run the wallet it shows SandCoins everywhere and no Casinocoins. Also checked languages as Felix suggested but no effect. I first need to be able to reproduce the issue before i can solve it .... Btw, ... i have been working on the Insight API and Mobile Wallets lately and not as much on the SandCoins wallet.

I tried at home with my win 10 computer. Its the same as was with win 7, csc everywhere: https://www.upload.ee/image/6015180/sandcoins.PNG If its not that important to finish SandCoins wallet before mobile wallets, then deal with it later.

I cant thank You guys enough for your hard work.

-No CasinoCoin wallet ever present on this PC, but I did have the old SandCoins wallet downloaded.

Let me download the Sandcoins wallet again when I'm home and let you know if I get the same issues.
In regards to the mining I couldn't agree with you more Andre. Don't let people discourage you and your hard work.
I don't think people realize how much -personal time- and money some of us has invested in CSC and to think we would attempt to harm the coins future makes me chuckle..

What is it you want to hear? That the devs are incompetent and made a wrong call? That we have no knowledge about crypto, mining and network security? That we are prone for an attack because hashing rate dropped below 1 GHash?

Some Bitcoin mining pools have gotten so big that they even fear a 51% attack from one of those, ... even with all that hashing power available! For me the fork was not as much about influencing the miners directly but more about the amount of coins generated. It has been a call for the long term future and not for the short term value or network security. We had about 20000 to 25000 new coins every day and that would have continued for the next 3 years and then to 0. If you want this coin to go to $1 value it would have been very difficult with 25000 new coins every day. Now with around 2000 new coins every day its much more easy and current coin holders value will not be diluted as easily. Also the long term reward is now the same, we'll see about 2000 new coins every day for the next 35 years or so, instead of a 0 coin reward and only fees based mining in a few years time, ... how would that influence your mining network? Bitcoin already starts to suffer from rising mining fees, they already calculated that Bitcoin fees could go as high as 3.3% if the reward drops towards 0 in the future. For CSC the low fees are one of its mayor advantages for Casinos over e.g. Credit Cards. The miners will return as soon as the coin value goes up because thats the only reason people mine, not for the fees. Network security will increase automatically when coin usage and value increase. If the coin value does not go up in the future (talking over the next 3 years here), it means that CSC has failed to be adapted by the Casino industry and i think the network will die off in that case anyway, ... as will most other cryptos by that time.

But, ..... as far as the devs are informed, .... it seems that things move ahead in the background and i am still confident CSC will have a bigger impact in the future. Some real life processes like regulation and permissions just take longer as expected.

BTW, here is the new insight based block explorer that Andre ported:

Casinocoin, can you add this to the OP?
I don't think Andre is finished yet.

Yeah I think he still needs to make a few changes. Found some bugs after it was put up.
