Remember everyone is in the same boat. I too am a loyal Zoomhash customer and have spent a decent amount with them, but unfortunately this is a market driven by manufactures.
G-blades were $599 on the 15th now they are $399. I bought a 4 pack and the price dropped before it shipped and they refunded me the difference. Yes this big price drop stings a bit but I don’t blame Zoomhash for my loss. I should have looked closer at the falling scrypt return and new miners being shipped which is an indicator to the market prices.

Every manufacturer does this, even the community custom guys like pepperming, you pay on Friday and the price drops on Monday buy $250.

I will continue to buy from Zoomhash.

I can't disagree with you in the least, and as a buyer of ASIC's, I know the market is turbulent.

My threshold of pain (or where I cry "foul") is crossed when an order is placed and the item price is reduced before it ships.

...Call me crazy, but that's how I see it.

It's also why I will never again participate in a pre-order scenario.

I did once and got very lucky with a KNC November Jupiter, but I managed to avoid BFL, Hashfast, Cointerra, Bitmine, and BlackArrow.

I empathize with every single customer of those companies who most likely are like me and scraping together every last bit of their "fluff" income to try to make a penny or two in this world where markets are untrustworthy, banks pay next to nothing in interest, and everywhere you turn someone is trying to con another $2-20 out of you. Those guys got burned and badly.

I'm sitting on 12Th/s and consider myself a small player in this game, but it's the small guys who need to keep the vendors and manufacturers honest if there is going to be a future in widespread decentralized cryptographic currency networks. Any other way, and we'll all get forced out by the fortune 500 players - permanently.

The only way we can do this as the little guy, is to speak with our voices, our dollars, and our BTC.

That is up to the manufacturers. We work on small margins and pricing is usually determined by the manufacturer. Smiley.

Yes but you could compensate your customers during the following situation to keep them from feeling 'ripped off':

1. Customer orders $2175 miner + shipping on 6/29
2. Next day - 6/30 no shipping status "Awaiting Fulfillment"
3. Following day - 7/1 price drop of $175.00 announced and posted on site
4. 7/1 several hours after price drop announced, tracking information received.

Doesn't really make me want to come back ZOOMhash for more, despite being a "ZOOM Founder"

Nor have I seen any way to use "Reward Points"

And now most likely due the 4th of July holiday, I won't see this purchase until the week of 7 July

Totally satisfied Michael -- NOT!!

If I'd have received tracking information prior to the price drop, my perspective would be different.

WOW!

I am impressed!

Zoomhash made this right, and refunded the difference in my order... Honestly, I couldn't ask for more.

I've ordered from them previously and never had any complaints on follow through. So I expect the remainder to go smoothly.

Aside from the delay in shipping I can expect from the 4th of July, I'm going to chalk this one up as an excellent deal. I already have tracking data from the order, but it looks like I probably won't receive my unit until the following week because of the holiday.

Thank you Zoomhash! You could have easily gone the route other resellers have and said, "Tough Luck" but you didn't, and I will certainly keep that fact in mind the next time I'm looking to make a purchase.

Sincerely,
elaramus

well I feel you I ordered number  6450 .

I paid pretty low but not 399.

I purchased 10 of these blades.  And about 30 five  chip units  (I have spent over 10k at zoomhash )

Now the ltc price crashes and  I am not looking to buy any more I have 8 on hand and 2 on the way and ltc is at 7 bucks and change.

So I have to do what  beg here for a break on the last purchase?

It would be nice to get  something extra.
