Omisego will be one of the best coins in 2018. Solid company backed up by real financial structure in asia.Could be a gamechanger once plasma is implemented. I like this coin alot! the team is solid and the price is so undervalued right now.

31 Jan — "OmiseGO Town Hall 0x1" - Live stream AMA event on YouTube.
This will be OmiseGo's first AMA and in the form of a live stream session. "We believe this is a great chance for the community to interact with the OmiseGO team, hear updates, and get your questions answered." Speaking will be: Vansa Chatikavanij (OmiseGo Managing Director), Jeremy Lam (OmiseGo Product Lead) and Kevin Xu (OmiseGo Head of Growth).
The format of the town hall will be roughly: 30 minutes update on business, product, and marketing. 30 minutes for Q&As.

3-5 May — "EDCON Community Ethereum Development Conference" in Toronto.
The EDCON (Community Ethereum Development Conference) is the nonprofit global conference organized by LinkTime, a company that is part of the Ethereum community in China. The purpose of the conference is to improve communication and integration between the various global Ethereum communities. EDCON is organized as a conference series, and happens once a year in different countries.
Various OmiseGo people and OmiseGo advisors will be attending, so keep an eye out for this one. (Vitalik Buterin, Gavin Wood, Joseph Poon, Karl Floersch, Jun Hasegawa, Jae Kwon, and Thomas Greco). Pandia Jiang, who is an advisor to OmiseGo, is the founder of LinkTime. LinkTime is the organizer of this event.

OmiseGO had flown under my radar up until this past month so I thought I would share my compiled research. The goal of this article is not to give investment advice but rather to educate those interested about the project.
Before I get to the top ten things you may not know about OmiseGO let me give an introduction to the project and their vision for those who may not be familiar as it is often misunderstood.

If they can deliver their promises, price can go up.

OMG has risen quite a lot, since it was distributed with the airdrop. The future is bright I think since a lot of development is done and there is a nice team behind it.

What about the value of OMG as a currency. How will owning OMG relate to people using the Omise platform, if it's not the actual currency that people are going to be using on the platform? I believe in the company, but I'm not sure how that correlates to believing that the value of OMG will increase.

Ahh i know it’s a good project and omisego is one of those promising coins but i’ve waited too much I mean, i like it but lately i’m not really sure if it’s worth to hodl.

Economist magazine 2018. What does the cover mean? Well, I think I have an idea. The coin around the phoenix neck has the symbol of an empty set, ∅. So what is empty in cryptocurrency? Well Ethereum comes from the word Aether which in Old Newtonian physics was seemingly unexplainable empty medium in which light happens to pass through. So, ethereum of some sort is probably going to be the new global currency in 2018. Since Vitalik Buterin is backing OmiseGo that is a huge tell that OmiseGo has a chance of becoming the new global currency.
Also the coin around the phoenix's neck is golden. That could be a symbol for gold backed future currencies. A huge transport of wealth is currently going on from west to east. With China and Russia and islamic world preparing for the dollar collapse - since they've been buying alot of our western gold the last decade.

On January 31st at 3:00 AM UTC, we will be having the very first OmiseGO virtual town hall to kickoff 2018. We believe this is a great chance for the community to interact with the OmiseGO team, hear updates, and get your questions answered.

As we’ve seen from other live streams, fielding live questions can be chaotic. To make sure the best questions get surfaced and to give the team a proper chance to prepare answers we’re going to take questions in a Reddit thread.

It is great time for buying OMG. During the 2018 OMG will have many innovations and news for us. SDK will be completed and tested. Plasma will be integrated to the OMG blockchain and it will be probably running. And their exchange will see the light of the world too. So big steps from OmiseGO.

I was like you. But lately got my OmiseGO tokens. Planning to buy a bit more. This is long term investment for me.
