Just received the same SCAM email. It points to https://omise-go.tech/ (the SCAM site) and not https://omisego.network/ (the REAL site for Omise).

But when you get to the link it asks for private key to ETH wallet.

That is a SCAM - be very careful. You should NEVER give your private keys to anyone, because this is what gives access to your account and could empty them.

I think there was no information given from point of time where the snapshot was taken.
It must have been before end of July as I've received the tokens on an old address from where I had removed all my ETH around last week of July.

I'm still waiting for mine as well.. anyway we can check the status? my Eth are stored in my ledger nano S, using MEW and https://ethplorer.io shows no tokens there. I have a fair amount of eth (since june) in this wallet but all my tokens are stored in another address.

Have you checked your ether address (e.g. on etherscan.io) for the tokens?
I have received mine already a couple of days ago. I first thought I haven't received them but then I realized I have changed all my ether funds to a new address back in July. The blockchain snapshot for the airdrop was taken before so I've checked my old address and the OMG tokens were on it!

wow omisego, i thought it was a joke, but it wasn't.
I am glad to see some free omg in my imtoken wallet, I even do not know where it came from until I see this thread, thank you to the omgsigo.
of course you never should complain when you get free coins. but for the small fish it's not interesting. only for the big whales it is.
I got an incy bit of OMG like 0.011 worth a week or so ago in one of my ETH addresses. Does anyone know why we get this and what it's for? Do you think we will get more of these airdrops in the future? I was thinking of maybe buying one OMG per week but the price now is pretty expensive already I guess and I fear I may have really missed the boat on this one.

I got my air drop yesterday. I'm not sure exactly how many ether I had in July, but it looks like roughly 5% OMG per Ether. I didn't have to do anything, it just showed up in the wallet.

You get free OMGs if you had min. 0,1 ETH on Jul-07-2017, but only very, very few (some guy here made a calculation that came out on one milli-OMG for each ETH).
You don't have to register, you just need a wallet that can handle ERC20-token like MEW (myetherwallet). If you held some ETHs in July - Snapshot was taken at block 3988888 - then they automatically show up in that wallet.
