It's definitely a snapshot at a point in the past. There's no point in buying ETH now or moving off exchanges now... the snapshot is in the past:

And it's not going to be a huge amount of OMG anyway, I work it out as $1 or so of OMG per 3 ETH (see my post earlier in this thread).

Anyway if I leave in my 3000 ETH wallet will I receive approximately 3000$ in OMG? This may seem symbolic, but to recertify 2/3 of Bitcoin is quite interesting right now! Right?

No, every ethereum will worth $0.2 of omisego. That was not a lot of amounts but it seems to give a lot of contribution for thereum holders. I remember someone worth around 700k ethereum will have gotten $100,000 worth of omise go and that was a lot of amount.

got to love free crypto. You tink OMG will crash a little after the drop?

Are you sure that the snapshot was already taken? Can't find an official statement, it just states 'TBA soon'.
