Well, in my country the most common esports game are these DOTA2 and CS:GO.
Or those about shooter games like Call of Duty and usually place bets when they had tournaments depending on my budget if I have.
However, do you know that country of China has many players of DOTA2? and the country of Denmark for CSGO?

I'm on the two games but very often I bet in Dota 2 because that was I most played together with my friends. I don't bet with the other people because I'm not familiar with them and most of them I just bet only when I was playing.
Well, it's pretty obvious not all the time we win, losses can be possible as not all the time we got lucky or your opponents might be more good as you.

Only Dota 2, been my go to because that's the only game that I am most familiar because I am a Dota player myself so I don't have problems choosing teams that's going to win because I have a good way to judge who's going to win depending on who's got a more favorable team composition.
Me too, I only go bet with Dota 2. I'm not an expert on it but because as someone who understands the game, that's why I chose it. With CSGO, I saw its popularity especially on the betting but I'm not that interested anymore on it although I know how to play the game.
In Dota 2, it's easy to bet and to understand if you know some teams already and players that are going with a match just like any other sports or esports that you know.
When it comes to esports then Dota2 is the most popular even though there are lots of mmropg and shooting games that do become popular but still this game couldnt really be beaten up considering that

on time tournaments do happen then prize pool of this one is the biggest in esports history which couldnt be  achieved by other games which does signify that when it comes to popularity then

nothing beats out this game. Its true that Dota2 is popular but also with CSgo but i cant just feel on making out some bets due to some interest issues.
MMORPG isn't really an esport to talk about since it's more of an adventure game and the competition there is different from the actual esports that we're having. Shooting games are part of the popularity of esports and there goes csgo, valorant and other FPS games.
I'm not into betting with csgo and that's why I stay with Dota 2 because I think that I'm better there although I'm not really someone like as the others who are advanced into analyzing teams and players.

Up until now you play dota 1 or your also playing dota 2? Because I think dota 1 is outdated and there can be updates in the characters in dota 2 that are not included in the old version of the game.

You know your prediction can go wrong but who knows if the opposing team had a bad luck , the other team can still win despite of their pickings. I do not play dota or dota 2, that is why I ask these questions and if there are games that I like to play that would be fps games like counter strike so obviously my vote will go for cs go. There are other fps games that is not in the poll list like fortnite and apex legends, which is fun to bet on.

I’m betting on these two great eSport since I played them before and I really enjoy watching them. These two is a great eSport to place your bet, you can really find an interesting odds on these sports though I only bet on Dota during the major league and on CSGO where I find a good teams to place a bet.

I mostly gamble at Stake.com for their eSports and they are hosting Counter Strike / Dota 2 / Call of Duty on their site, so I bet on them. I am not an expert eSport gambler, but I follow some of the tournaments and I know some of the top players/teams and I know some of their weak points and strong points.  Wink

It will be nice if they could add some more eSports, because it is something that will pull in the younger generation.. but I will play what is on offer.  Wink

Gambling on esports seems like some weird thing you'd see in a movie about the future.  It's crazy to think about how big this business has become.  I'm even seeing on NFL games now they have weird replays where the people are generated animations like out of a video game.  It seems this is the direction the world is going.  Pretty soon we'll be having entire football teams of video game players.  I must admit I thought it was pretty crazy, but it makes more sense then robot sports, which is sort of what I was expecting for the future when I was a kid.  Now with the rise in digital capabilities and now the coming metaverse, it seems pretty obvious the future of sports is not robotics, but virtual.  I guess I should probably dip my toe in at some point.  I wish I was younger, I would probably care more.  Nowadays video games are less about winning for me and more about having ridiculous fun in any way possible (usually trolling).
The world without a doubt can move in directions that are unpredictable, but in a way it makes sense this is the way things are moving, after all robotics is proving to be a very difficult field and even if there are robots competitions, for example there is a soccer world championship for robots, the way they play is still very far away from what we can see in humans, so it makes sense that virtual competitions are taking the share of the interest from the general public right now.

I haven't played cs go but I do play dota 2 so I would bet on Dota 2. The esports that are popular in my country is Dota 2 and games like league of legends, mobile legends and battle royale games. As of now, I haven't bet on any games I mentioned because of financial problems which is needed for needs and for repairs to the house that is devastated by the typhoon rai but I would recommend betting on the esports that a person going to bet. It really depends on what you like or love.

Only on Dota2 specifically on EU and SEA region matches since I have a better analysis on all teams in there and also the odds given on team there is good compared on North and South America region which is always pretty low on a powerhouse team.

I hope other games like Street fighter V and tekken should be add on e-sports so we can have a wide variety range on e-sports betting category.

Battlefield games are the most popular among the bettors in eSports category but I don't really bet on them so I don't want to comment any particular name but in general I love to play games which is kind of addictive also more entertaining but when it comes to betting I feel these games can be easily manipulated so don't bet my money on it, just have fun and let the addictive mind out of it

I think most people prefer games like CS:GO, DOTA 2, and Fortnite have created so much buzz in eSports events that the odds are very high on these games.
and if we research and learn more about the strengths and weaknesses of the team, we can easily make huge profits through eSports betting.
Dota 2 is the biggest and therefore probably the most lucrative to play, but the newest giveaway to Fortnite is pretty special too.

that's what I remember because I don't use it anymore and that was a year ago, and I also rarely use it.

CSGO, LoL, Dota...in that order

but if you were to determine the most popular esports based on mentions in the hot esports thread in this board, Dota will come out ahead for sure, followed by csgo and then League of legends way behind (sadly)

LoL is also very popular.
I was going to mention this. League of Legends is more popular in our country as well than CS:GO or dota2. Recently, there has been a lot of dramatic growth of esports betting among the world including my country. Anyway, I have never placed bet on any of the mentioned esports but I did with League of Legends.

I'm into playing DOTA 2 and CSGO so I prefer betting with it. I find it too risky at first but I learned to enjoy betting on it especially with the most trusted skilled players. I find it thrilling and I also tried betting on my friends who used to play DOTA which was exciting as well. Betting on sports that we're playing could be fun for us.

My friend used to bet on CS:GO and DOTA 2 as well. I've tried betting on DOTA 2 once and never tried it again. I mostly bet on sports betting because I find it more thrilling and fun since I'm not the gamer type. You might want to try Rainbow Six Siege and Overwatch, they belong to top games in esports too.

Recently, I was asked by one of my clients to check out which esports betting bitcointalk users are most interested. I wasn't really aware of esports betting much. Because I really don't gamble a lot. Can you please share which esports you used to place bets on? It would be a great helping hand to find out the right one. Client was interested in offering bonus for bitcointalk users.

Care to give information about your client?

I have no experience in esports actually not my thing but I would like to know which platform is the bettors in esports use like your client. The ones I see are tournaments only which they bet on. I've read some of the news about it which there are popular teams who usually win on CSGO and DOTA, Asians are way dominant in this space.

I have been betting on CSGO for many years now. During the big hype of online betting 6 years ago in esports I got interested in it too. Been playing CSGO a lot so it kind of came natural to me to try out the gambling. In the end this was the best way to get good skins without too much money involved. My first 3 knives all came from betting. I would say that the rise in CSGO skin prices came partly from the success in betting. It was very easy to bet a few skins on a match. This is also how I came into crypto currencies after trading more skins and finally cashing out. A bit surprised now that there are more people here betting on Dota than on CSGO.

Why not consider covering the whole thing and not just some specific preferred Esports games?

As long as the game is popular, you can bet that it has a big market associated with it. You can tell that to your client.

If a company will offer Esports betting, it's not making sense to see that only a few Esports games are listed there.
