I bet in boxing, upset is rarely happen especially for unknown boxer, you can take advantage through multiple bets by picking favorite boxers. If the fight is big for chasing a belt, you need to know the capability of each boxer, upset sometime happen on big fight.
Just be careful if you want to bet on exhibition or amateur fight, the result is really unpredictable and my assumptions the fight was scripted.

Those 4 above sports might be indeed the most popular ones in the gambling industry although I do know about soccer only because the other 3 sports are not popular in my country. If I have to add other sports which I used to bet are Motosports such as MotoGP and F1, and the other one which is popular in my country is Badminton.
For F1 in my country it is not very popular and has many fans but for MotoGP and Badminton there are lots of fans who are willing to leave anything when these two sporting matches are in progress.
But to be honest, I myself am not interested in these two types of sports and have never watched or even bet on them.
The sports I'm most interested in and always become a priority are only Football and UFC because they have excitement that you can't get when watching other types of sports.

It seems that it happens in sports that are not too well known so the competition is not as tight as in football where there are many unexpected possibilities, like in badminton we will rarely see the top players lose in the early rounds at least the top players will reach the quarterfinals so at the start a tournament will be very easy for bettors to make a profit by betting on top players but the profit is small because the odds are so low unless we do a multibet, but don't do that when it's past the quarterfinals because the battle is already fiercer and it is already more difficult the result will come out.
Most of the time, the sports that are not very popular like you mentioned badminton or any other game, people don't really watch them a lot so they don't even know who are the best players in those games and that is the disadvantage if one goes for betting on those games even if there can be countless opportunities of winning bets and parlays.So I really find it wiser to just bet on sports that you have some experience about only to be sure that you know what you are doing unless someone is ready to sit and research about the not very popular game to find out who is the best player and how all of them play, etc. It's a time-consuming process but might be worth it.

Most that you will see is the NBA, you can be sure there are tons of basketball fans here also expressing thier bet on every match. The NBA threads go to hundred pages already. It's by far one of the sports I have tried as I can easily see people chooses a team to win.
One is also the UFC. Men are men and like combat sports. But I once tried betting on a chess match but was just a test. Apart from the list, it's Boxing that is very much easier to be dragged.

Let's include e-sports (CS:GO, Dota2, Valorant, and Pubg) and also boxing since our country loves to watch boxing. We are not big football fans, but when it comes to basketball, we are all watching it and, without a doubt, these are the people who bet the most on it. Recently I came across a few articles on the Internet while trying to understand what makes sports betting so lucrative. I now know that there are three big sports that every Gambler, Sports Enthusiast, and a lot of fans are engaged in Sports betting. Soccer and basketball has a big fandom and it has a bigger community. These are international sports so no wonder why it has huge number of bettors. I also like betting on these sports also because of my colleagues' influence. Aside from these sports, I'm also betting on boxing and some of the local racing sports in our country as well. There are also underrated sports nowadays that are silently gaining a bigger number of bettors.

Football is a sport that is the easiest to predict who will win in an ongoing match and the chances of winning on soccer betting are bigger than other types of sports.

I'm a pure football bettor, I almost never bet on other sports, I've tried betting on UFC - basket ball (NBA) - boxing but I'm quite difficult to understand it, so I decided to only bet on football.

If your goal is to earn a profit then you should only concentrate on the games that you love the most because you are also familiar on how the game is played and the teams or players that are involved. It depends on which sport I like and which sport I personally understand the best. I can't remember if I had ever placed a bet for sports other than Cricket and soccer. In Asian countries, these two are the most popular sports and people understand these two perfectly. Though personally, I place most of the bets in soccer (Place bets on cricket occasionally), most people here place bets on cricket matches. I don't even anymore watch any other sports for a quite long time.
I think cricket is a popular sport in India but in other parts of Asia, it was basketball. Soccer games must be popular in Brazil and similar countries. It's interesting how a country can influence us the sport that we like but maybe a few percent don't follow it and have their own favorites.

Betting on soccer makes the games more fun to watch especially on the weekend. It is not just about the potential to win from betting but the joy you get to know that you got a prediction right, means you know enough about a sport you so love. I am careful betting on soccer because of how I can become too addicted that I begin to use more money than I normally use in betting.

I personally won't bet on or have any experience with any other sport than football and cricket but in my opinion, tennis is the most famous sport after what you've listed and people mostly bet on that after these sports. I do use to watch tennis too in the past but I don't have much experience with it nor do I know all the players and tournaments, etc.
What makes sports betting so lucrative is the wish to win big rewards or at least have more chances of winning a reward since though it's gambling of a sort but it isn't solely dependent on luck and your knowledge and experience play a great role too.

Tennis game and basket ball (NBA) game are the two games i have placed a bet on before now. I dont really know much about the two games. I was attracted by the odds, but Soccer is my most favorite sport game that i bet whole lot of time including the virtual play. Boxing is another game i have tried twice and it was fun.

Thanks for correcting me. I have gone ahead and amended the topic. I generally do not bet on sports, but I was curious to know which games are the ones that are watched only for betting. I also found out that the biggest betting revenue generated by a sport is NFL. I have not seen any thread related to it or I might have missed it.
