There would be  a little something with global currency, Developed nations would certainly benefit since there would be no longer be currency risk in international trade, In addition there would be somewhat of a leveling of the global paying field since nations like China could no longer use currency exchange as a means to make their goods cheaper on the global market.

i think its better to have a mix of  cryptocurrencies, then you have a competition and a way of selection.

well, probably true, that 1 controls everything. we can see when bitcoin prices go up, as it is today, most likely other coin prices are part of this increase. whereas when the bitcoin price drops, I think so much altcoin has a dump price.

Yes one currency is bitcoin and this currency will be rule on all world, peoples are using different currencies in their respective countries like USD,GBP,INR etc but bitcoin will be one currency which will use in all over world and peoples send money in couple of minutes and there is no need to do formality like verification of particular person who is sender and receiver so in future bitcoin can rule on all world as a virtual currency.

We are lucky to have a nice choice panel between eth, neo, lumen to counter the BTC
NEO and Lumen will never be able to fight Bitcoin. Only ETH has a future against Bitcoin, but I think ETh will take another 10 or 20 years to fight Bitcoin because the Bitcoin community is the biggest in the world.

One currency? Isn't that Bitcoin today? I mean, it is the currency that rules in this community. I think that it won't be replaced anytime soon. Although it is possible. It is not this time.

Maybe this has been brought up a million times, but looking at the current goals of a lot of financial apps. Do you think eventually it will just be something like BCC, LTC, NANO that is most highly adopted and just runs the others away?
Or, will it come to atomic swaps, where we have steadier market prices, and you can just pay with 6 different currencies to be converted over for payment?
I think therefore now the most highly adopted and those who run the others as bitcoin as well as Ethereum. Bitcoin is ruling about all coins, and Ethereum is alternative cryptocurrencies king.

I think all the crypto have no stable price, except only some stable coin, and that's just a little bit.

regulation will help control the crypto market. we can swap some altcoins into each different currency, but crypto always has an unstable value.
Regulation won't make the crypto prices stable,it is just the restriction from the respective governments for using the crypto currencies. But for now most of the altcoins were used as an investment so I have no idea that crypto currency is going to rule the world or not.

As we all know that crypto market is full of crypto currencies and we all are aware with many crypto currencies around like bitcoin, bitcoin Cash, etherum, litcoin or many more as I don’t know that names even of all so there are many crypto currencies available in the market and I don’t think that there could be one single currency that could rule them all but yes they are competitors of each other and obviously one will be the leader so no doubt the bitcoin is the topper and the largest crypto currency among all available in the market.

With the growing adoption of bitcoin as well other cryptocurrencies the usage as a currency has grown high. Some countries have developed their own cryptocurrency for the transaction purpose within the country limit and bitcoin is being planned to be used for transactions beyond the country limit.

I believe there will be one currency to rule them all one day. Particularly something that is centered on being universal, with easy access for all. It would have to be simple enough that even a grandmother could use it. It would have to  have a uniquely simple interface, so people from all corners of the world could utilize it with ease, without any hangups because of a language barrier, or disabilities whereas a person may be limited in their usage of such a medium.
To pull it off, it would have to be some what centralized, to a point where it is applicable enough for regulators and policymakers can work with it. The big question really is, will it be a cryptocurrency and if so, will it be scalable?

Just my two cents

Definitely believe that there will be a few coins that are used in the future with the rest fizzing out. Bitcoin will still be the main currency, I see it evolving and changing to suit the environment. We are only at the beginning of a wonderful revolution where Bitcoin is entrenched and as the world adopts crypto currencies Bitcoin will be the leader.

Take in consideration that bitcoin has always been the first one on the entire market, that is the main reason of why it is so important, because it was a first-serve basis. Anyway, bitcoin will always be the most powerful coin.

if the industry stays healthy, it shouldn't be one currency, or even a few currencies. it needs to diversify, with different coins providing different utilities or value. Similar to stock market, more coins will emerge, some will be similar, but as a pool, there needs to be breadth and width.

There will always be people that will use other bigger coins. Why? Bigger coins will encourage people to use their coin with rewards, better terms and etc.

I see the BCC listed in the list of expected currencies that will rule everything, and I wonder if this is a coincidence? BCC is like a pile of dungeon worshipers and can never grow. Bitcoin will remain the ruler of all, and it will change all.

I don't think that one cryptocurrency is a good solution. cryptocurrency world means decentralization and variety of coins so people can choose what they like to use.
Yes as you said ine currency will not rule them all but for now most of the crypto currencies prices just depending on the bitcoin and the bitcoin has higher dominance of all so whivh means bitcoin is ruling now but it may change in future.
