2018 has been one of the worst years if not the worst in the crypto industry. We had so many ups and downs but we are still around and looking forward to making it happen once again as it has always been. But amidst fhe turbulence that occurred there's still one thing I'm happy for, and that's some "psychopaths" failed their mission.

We all thought we had reach a bottom around 6K until some few people decided to ruin everything for all of us. Gladly, their mission failed (well, for now) and I'm really happy for that. I hope the same happens to anyone who tries to ruin Bitcoin's price furthermore.

Now Bitmain has layed off workers, boycotted plans to launch a subsidiary at a new country and having leadership troubles and oh, people aren't purchasing their mining rigs as before. Their best solution was to help find a way to pump Bitcoin but they ruined it.

If you have a product, start something and don't try to kill Bitcoin because ultimately you'll end up with undervalued coins.

We have seen huge ups and downs in 2018 for cryptocurrency. Those who purchased coins after the mid of 2018 is now huge losses. But now it is good time to invest.

Whatever 2018, I still think we needed it. There is nothing wrong with the market falling. This is a perfectly normal situation. It is also good that it helps to get rid of unnecessary coins and fake crypto enthusiasts, because we have to support and believe in crypto in any case.
The fall is the opportunity to buy more volume in cheaper price. It is not always a bull run and we also have to experience this for us to learn how to survive and how many will stay to support the coin development and improvement. What hood in 2018 is those mining that offers affordable investment where I gain for a year of falling.

Or the fall causes lots of traders to get away as far as they can. lol. I'm sure that most of them got burned easily so you can't really put the blame of them for running and getting out of the system.

The mindset of a lot of traders has really taken a drastic turn, turn's no more bull runs and holders are getting frustrated, but hey opportunities are always open its up to us to grab them.

I don't think 2018 is the worst year, dor beginner maybe its a frustrating year, 2018 is one of the longest bearish market for crypto, and yes people prefer to take profit for themselves rather than cooperate to make this technology to work, but if you see the bright side you will notice that bitcoin still in a good track and you could buy some to stock and make profit in the future
And the bearish market is still happening now. We don't know when the bear market ends, we have speculated or predicted the price of bitcoin for this year and the year after, but that is not something that is certain and worthy of confidence. I agree when the bearish market that occurs in 2018 has eliminated many investors, especially newbie investors. They did not understand what had to be done after experiencing a loss, but their minds would be disturbed and not function properly so they dared to sell their investments and leave this place. However, OP is very different from other newbie investors, he has a belief in this place.

It will be very difficult for new projects to spoil the price of bitcoin. Bitcoin has great support and it is unlikely that in the near future some coin will be able to compete with bitcoin.
Bitcoin can’t be replaced even if the 2018 gives us so much pain since its bear market but I know 2019 will be a growing phase of bitcoin and it can survive. Cryptocurrency was not without bitcoin and it makes more confident for bitcoin to stay on top. We will have a great year for sure, be patient.

I am glad with 2018 because that year was a great opportunity for us who didn't able to buy last bear market of 2016 and 2017. Because of that situation when market encountered down falls, my chances became an overwhelming opportunities. I am not affected even though the situation became so tough right now, since there's always a good reason for me to continue holding my crypto assets.
Right.2018 was indeed a tough year for most of us since the bull run which is everybody's hope to occur has not happened. But then again it was a great opportunity to buy more coins with great potentials since the price is very affordable.Until now we are still on a bearish one seeing the market is still in a low price. But i am not really worried about this because for sure there will be a good price increase in the next months so i prefer to stay calm and patient all the time.

surely everyone has a different nature in 2018, yes you may react with pleasure but there are also those who feel disappointed even to panic because of the price. yes, last year and until now it has taught us that we must remain patient and wait until everything is truly improved, who is patient and never gives up will surely produce.

Those psychopaths failed their mission to turn Bitcoin into what the whitepaper described. We won, people, we have our ponzi, buy our bags!
Guess what, the entire crypto community failed, nobody is buying your bags, the only money left to make in this market is by smart daytrading.
Also Bitmain is alive and well, they were totaly overleveraged, the $20k price of BTC was unsustainable so of course they aren't worth 16 billion. But they're still worth more than Binance, so don't get your panties wet just yet. Also the Texas location being closed was shown as fake news, I guess they'll keep mining.
I for one thank Bitmain for not leaving BCH to actual psychos and pouring millions in defending the coin (at least I assume the hash came from Bitmain). Shows that they really care about a cash version of bitcoin.
P.S. OP should skip the propaganda and start learning if he ever wants to make money. Bulls and bears make money, pigs get slaughtered, if you're getting emotional over propaganda you're in the third group.

If there was something good to comeout of the results of cryptocurrency in 2018 it was the exposure of what bitmain was doing with its mining facility and equipment. That was just not right.
Atleast companies like bloqlabs are looking to improve on mining with increasing hashrate and not just being greedy with it.

Looking at 2018 closely and making deduction away from price perspective, it wasn't reallya bad year for cryptocurrencies though. The year brought so many revolution and turned alot of things around. It kind of built a 'framework' for some real works. For instance the issues of adoption, regulations and other related stuffs were much in the works.

Everyone know that it cannot keep on rising every time. It ill be falling too. Just 2018 can be considered as a remainder to everyone that not every year will be rising and that is why it is said to be risky as well. Patience ill be key at times and those who get it right will make money for it.

Most of the cryptocurrency based on the Bitcoin development only if Bitcoin will be dropped down then people will not accept any other cryptocurrency to be developed and investment also be reduced in this type of field very much easily so it can be a good thing also for Bitcoin.

We all feel that 2018 is a bad year for the bitcoin market. But behind it all, we see. More and more people or even large institutions are starting to enter. And I believe, that is something good for the process of adopting bitcoin globally

waoo! Never think it in this way until I read what you have posted.  Cryptocurrencies market has a very bad 2018 and it seems it has nock many of those big guy out of the market.  I think many developers and projects owners tried to kill bitcoin by making some investments decision and that had really turned against them as most of the coins we thought will do well has followed bitcoin in downturn.  Bitcoin is the king and it is going to rule forever.  If any crypto business goes against it that business is going to suffer.

There's no crypto without Bitcoin

- This is the only thing I really believed in dude, if blockchain did not create for sure Bitcoin will not appear in this industry neither crypto too. But that's not what happened Blockchain arise then bitcoin became popular and followed by crypto or altcoins. Actually in some other ways, 2018 in the sight of many was the worst thing happened but for the positive thinker here they accumulate to buy those coins that are cheap even up to now then they still hold on it, for being a bullish.

2018, though it gave the opportunity to grow bitcoin, but it helped someone to start with a small price to grow rich)) this is his plus.
Right in 2018 bitcoin gave us oppurtunity cause the value is dip and this year are right time to buy bitcoin and started to hold it and wait for the meantime and soon the market will recover and bitcoin start increasing the value and we get high profits for that.

It definitely wasn't the worst year. There was nothing fundamentally wrong with Bitcoin and huge increase in events and startup businesses. I feel like 2014 was much worse. It was the year of Gox fiasco and people losing confidence in exchanges. There were bans in China and their exchanges were proven to be faking volume. We also had an enormous number of crypto mining and cloud mining scams and there was no real development, no countries opening up to Bitcoin.
Now we have segwit, LN node number is growing, there's a lot of OTC trading going on. I'm not worried.
