DeepOnion is unique in many ways compared to other privacy cryptos. If we're talking about blockchain privacy, DeepOnion is offering untraceable payments without cryptographic encryption or complex algorithims by using multisig transactions. If you do some research you'll find that other privacy coins changed their encryption algos after some researchers found flaws. Despite that DeepOnion was one of the greatest airdrops in the history of Bitcoin Talk Forums, the buys and especially the people's demand nowadays is dead. I can see true hodlers and i can see real manipulation on the market. The ONION Project might have 1 Billion views here in Btt but there will be no buy orders. I don't really know why, peoples are holding? there's no future? The tech is dead?
I don't think so, the devs are doing their jobs but the money and the investors are gone. Peoples are hodling thousands of the coins, that's what i understood, peoples are in DeepFear of another DeepDump. I hope the best for this project, take DeepOnion to the hospital!, lol!

Every coin has experienced massive lose in the last 2 years. But not all have continued to build and keep up community involvement like deep onion.

You should not be seeking a quick bullet point presentation for any coin. DeepOnion is an anonymous cryptocurrency, and everything concerning this coin can be found at deeponion.org in a very nice looking website. I love DeepOnion, it being a coin which was distributed via airdrop but a lot of people worry about DeepOnion's future. My biggest concern with privacy coins as a whole is the fact they very well could be regulated against. ISPs choke pools, Government agencies bar business from accepting and take away FIAT off-ramps. What can be done then? Sure everyone can Solo Mine but at that point what is the motivation? Cant trade it for Fiat or goods an services. Personally I feel that this is being ignored by the privacy coin community as a whole and we all need to step up and help shape these coming regulations instead of just letting them come to fruition without any input from community projects whatsoever.
The crypto community is growing stronger and bigger each day! plus there are many more people waking up knowing about how inefficient, manipulated, corrupted, scammed and controlled by only a few centralized organizations, the current monetary system is. Those are enough reasons to start with, plus DeepOnion is here to educate the masses as well because not many people yet can get why the privacy and decentralized systems are important!
Soon DeepOnion also will focus on decentralized exchanges.

What's the update of DeepSend? Last time I checked it was being tested by the DEV team, when can we expect it to be released?

The devs will release a version to be tested by the mods . If everything works well, I guess we will have an official release soon.

I advise to go to the first page of this thread for quickly DeepOnion understanding. There are a lot of links to informational materials for reading and studying about subject. I don't think anyone will deliver a lecture for you here: too big topic

I can see Trezor on this link https://github.com/trezor/blockbook/pull/298 not sure if this is only for Polispay or for ONION on Trezor?
Polispay asked help about the integration to the blockbook repository. So dev team made a PR.
With new codebase we can also easier integrate ONION code base to hardware wallets i.e. Trezor.
Currently the dev team focus on the DeepSend.
Buyers will be willing to buy more ONIONs once Trezor is available, they don't have to update wallets!

DeepVault stores only the hash of the file on the immutable blockchain. Files can be stored on the blockchain but this is not practical as a storage solution because stored files will remain on the blockchain forever without the possibility to modify or delete it.
