I think you need to reset your computer system . But be careful your wallet backup , you need to backup all your wallet first . You can find backup script in official forum by YinchenSan . Wishes this can help you .

I have Onions on desktop but I don't want to leave the computer running all the time for staking rewards. I prefer to have them on the computer though, even if you don't risk anything if you backup you private key but still... Grin

I have my PC on 24/7 but I also got raspberry pi3 so need to get that up and running...
