For the new DO versions, where the wallet file should be? inside DeepOnion folder or inside wallets folder only?
This was updated and the "Wallet" folder is not used anymore by the latest release.
So where the wallet.dat file is? Or we don't need this file too?
It's in the DeepOnion folder with the rest of the local files.
Windows: %appdata%\DeepOnion\wallet.dat
Linux: ~/.DeepOnion/wallet.dat
MacOS: /Users/$USER/Library/Application Support/DeepOnion/wallet.dat

I want to ask was be "wallet.dat" chosen correctly during the installation of new version? And was be correct version 2.0.4.1 used instead v.2.0.4?

Also, make sure you are using your backup file in the new installation, otherwise if you only have the newest version but your backup file is not in the DeepOnion folder, that might be the issue or reason you see zero balance.

Ok, that's a bit unexpected. Not the step to pay salaries in crypto itself, but the speed of implementing this. That's extremely positive for crypto of course. As for GS words, I wouldn't give it too much attention yet. Let's see their actions first.

Yeah I totally agree about Goldman Sachs, that kind of news seems to always be there. But it does help with FOMO when Goldman Sachs is in the news, predicting a Bullish outlook. haha.

Btw, I asked my manager about that jokingly of course(My employer is big tech corp) and he said "Yep, maybe your kids will catch that wave" Smiley

I am sure other countries will follow suit soon when they see all the benefits they get when they pay salaries with crypto, less corruption, less bureaucracy, less middle man, less everything!

Great video with important news. In my opinion, the decision taken by Australia will soon be followed by other states. Mass adoption coming ... when ... I don't know
I wish they paid me in bitcoin or deeponion.

I have a big issue. I have registered an account at the official DO Forum (https://deeponion.org/community) in 2017. I have used an unique Email Adress, only for the forum. This adress is hidden in the forum. Since few days, I get heaps of scam mails on my email account. What happened? Was the page hacked?
Email providers are also known to share user data with third parties that are bound to respect the rules and not compromise the privacy of the users. We all know how it worked with the Cambridge Analytica scandal  Cheesy

Our forum secured by experienced IT engineers.  We have not been reported & informed before about such an incident. We monitor also unique emails so far we have not seen any spam emails to them.
The email providers exploits, or random or systematic address emails can also be spammed.

You can come and share in DeepOnion forums the email you received. If any others also receive similar emails they can confirm the leakage.

POS now is 5% or already 1%?

I am going to say unlikely hacked. What is more likely (I have received scam/spam like this), they send to a bunch of similar looking addresses. i.e. [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], etc.
I think if it was a hack of DeepOnion email list that everyone would be getting the same emails.
I think they just picked up an e-mail address

DeepOnion PoS has been lowered to 1% as we were told it would happen. Mining has also been halved.

***It would be great if other countries follow the same example as New Zealand.
It would be great if the legislation of New Zealand allowed  to return assets to Cryptopia customers in the desired currency and in a decent amount  Huh
