I was on the wrong chain yesterday, changed conf and resynced, everything was ok, but now i am off chain again (compared to prohashing block explorer). Will try to resync again but feeling a bit nervous now...

It is highly recommended to update to new wallet as soon as possible.
Don't forget to backup your wallet.dat first and export private keys.
Replace old nodes with new ones.
If you are having troubles go to DeepOnion forum and everything is explained in detail there.

no need to worry, you are still in time, but be careful and backup all relevant files (walet.dat and private key at least ;-) )

New wallet is syncing fine so far. Been going for about 5 hours and is at about 75 percent to full sync. No idea if that's normal but it is getting there

On the official forum, the dev team member is helping with people about the update. It is very important to update the wallets. If most of us support the main chain, new comers will likely fall into the correct chain. Staying on the correct chain is also very important for yourself. If you don't update, you may stay in another world where the majority in the real world does not know what is happening there. Nobody want to see that happen.

there will be update but i think not so soon, if you have sync problems make sure to do this:

go to %appdata%\DeepOnion folder
