I have just switched to new wallet and replaced nodes with new ones before starting. Everything seems to work fine. I have tested the wallet with transfer from faucet and it was almost instant.
My last three stakes that have been awarded yesterday and today in the old wallet totaling 4.5 Onions are not accepted in new chain but that was expected and staking weight is restored for those stakes as they never happened.
My advice is to do your backups and start using new wallet but make sure that you replace nodes with new ones for everything to work correctly.

guys please do i need to delete hold deeponion folder 
or Just run the new wallet app. It will automatically sync with the old wallet app data folder???
and of course just change the nodes , i know for this one...

not seen anything about android wallet being released yet. only download from official site and use deep vault to verify.
We prepare its announcement to release the Android wallet, stay tunedYeah, this is huge!
This are really good news. A lot of users are waiting for this wallet.
yes I think the android wallet is a massive deal .loads of people don't even have a pc anymore and use there smartphone exclusively
There are not much coins out there with a good functional mobile wallet. This will be for sure a good step in the right direction.
