I already upgraded my wallet to its latest version and now its synching. Didn't do any update on nodes, you think there will be a problem?

just wondering and trying to understand.
What will happen to Onions of holders with Onions in their (old) wallet in case they miss the deadline to install the new wallet ?
Let's say they are not on the forum regularly or travelling and not checking the forums coming weeks.
Nothing. Once they come back, they will upgrade it, download new blocks and that's it. But if they don't they just be out of sync.What will happen to Onions of holders with Onions in their (old) wallet in case they miss the deadline to install the new wallet ?
Let's say they are not on the forum regularly or travelling and not checking the forums coming weeks.
They might be disappointed to of been staking a worthless chain, but their onions will be safe

OMG Deep Onion is skyrocketing today because of the new wallet stealth address release. Huge buy / demand wall on Kukoin now and only a few sellers, the price will go up even more.

Do we need to upgrade, like is it mandatory? I am terrible with the wallet backups and upgrades, so if it is not necessary likely will hold off.
Check the title of the thread, it says Mandatory Upgrade
But the advice is to wait for a few days before the upgrade as there are some issues and it is best to wait for them to be fixed.

I have reported it to the core team, and they said they appreciate my efforsts very much.
However, I have not obtained more airdrop coins yersterday.
I am not happy for that. And I decide to delete all of my posts from this forum and BitcoinTalk, and not to contribute too much to this project.
I am just a small holder, and have no many Onion coins.

As we know there are unlimited ways to reach from point A to point B, And in the case of DeepOnion we are getting there doing our tasks every day each one of us, we have different talents but we need, even more, we have VIP members, great graphic designers, developers, mods, big community, and the most important great features!! we are still on our journey to enroll more members for expansion, once we reach point B, there will be more points B to reach!

My advice is , its better to wait for couple of days.
Agreed, I have built 1.6 but moved back to 1.5.6 due to syncing issues. The issues are, it doesn't sync.

Last time I upgraded, I just downloaded the new wallet and started the new QT wallet exe file.
Didn't change anything else and worked as a charm.
I can also just start an old version of the wallet.
Now I'm not sure since there seem to be some additional steps.
Will have to check deepers post in detail.

I believe it was said that we have roughly 2 weeks before the hardfork occurs at block 460,000. Hopefully the devs will have the synching issues solved real soon.
What are the syncing issue I a not aware of?
Is yours syncing properly? Mine did first time, but not on reopening my laptop. Seems to work OK then restarts the syncing procedure.. Is yours OK?

Read deeper mail on forum. Follow step by step. Back up wallet data in many places. Double check your one syncs or else you need older version of wallet I think. Good luck and let's us know how it goes OK. Maybe its fixed already
