I invest slowly in your project, but I try to keep the coins on a paper wallet. I would like to be able to import coins into a mobile wallet, but alas I did not find such a possibility there, which is very bad. But I hope that in the future it will be implemented.

Wheel of Whales 🐳

Ok ... thank you. Just downgrading now to 1.7.6...
Cheesy

After a few days full of work and hope I'll do it the same way right now. Hopefully this solves the issues and my wallet is going to stake again.

Also problems here:

Updated my wallet yesterday. Using 1.8. now. Using the newest nodes and downloaded the blockchain. For a couple of hours everything went fine. Syncing correctly. Then the wallet starts lagging downloading new blocks. The number of remaining blocks is permanently increasing during the wallet is online. Even the wallet is staking, whats crazy, because no wallet is staking, when it is not ready synchronized.

Behaviour from the wallet at the moment:
1. Synchronizing to the latest blocks right after start
2. Then stopping synchronizing and more and more blocks are remaining.
3. Even staking the whole time. But staking reward not accepted.

Whats going wrong? And how to solve this problem?
This was probably due to added security checkpoints in v1.8 so now the nodes are competing to build the chain. The chain continues to be built by miners and stakers. Many options were discussed here: https://deeponion.org/community/threads/wallet-stopped-synching-again.41645/

For a fast fix, this always works for me to rebuild the blockchain and get it to sync correctly:
Backup - https://deeponion.org/community/support-tickets/knowledge-base/backup-wallet-dat-and-private-keys.9/
DeepOnion.conf nodes - https://deeponion.org/community/support-tickets/knowledge-base/out-of-sync-error-deeponion-conf.4/
QuickSync - https://deeponion.org/community/support-tickets/knowledge-base/quicksync-guide.5/

Keep the downloaded QuickSync file to use it next time, no need to download it again. You also have the option to downgrade to an older release until the next mandatory update if you don't want to apply this solution:
https://github.com/deeponion/deeponion/releases

But I did all this. Does that mean, I have to do this every time i start the wallet... ?
I suspect you will need to do it every time it's out of sync to catch up with with the network.

Oh, I was looking for an answer at what's causing this in the forum. I didn't realize it was already posted here. I don't have version 1.8.0 installed, though, I got lazy and stuck with 1.7.5  Grin
Which is working fine, by the way, if anyone wants to downgrade.

even with quicksync my wallet is still kinda weird and not syncing well.

everybody could fix with it? or still people usynced?
you need to use conf file
https://deeponion.org/DeepOnion.conf.php
please let us know if problem still exists.

https://deeponion.org/community/threads/wallet-stopped-synching-again.41645/

my .conf was fine I think but updated it anyway.
downloading bootstrap to update, will report here if it works.
I tested it again and it works, here is what I did:

- I did not try the official QuickSync link yet but I see some posts that it was tested and it works. I used the link provided by the developer in this post because I already have it:
https://deeponion.org/community/threads/wallet-stopped-synching-again.41645/page-3#post-654682 (Wallet Stopped Synching Again)
- Close the wallet.
- Update to the latest official DeepOnion.conf nodes: https://deeponion.org/DeepOnion.conf.php (DeepOnion Conf File FRESH ONION nodes)
- Delete the blockchain and replaced it with the one from the link.
- Run the wallet and let it sync until the last 200 blocks, then close the wallet. Copy the blockchain from your DeepOnion local folder, this way you don't need to download all the missing blocks every time.
- Start the wallet and run the following commands at the console to fix the balance: "repairwallet" and "scanforalltxns". Wait for the second command to complete because it takes a while.

still have some issues here, wallet is taking ages to download the blocks (I have fast internet)
Trid the quicksync with new nodes but still running slow.

The chain or the wallets need to be fixed. It is a problem.

This seems to be ignored for some reason.

Adding the latest nodes from the nodelist and using the bootstrap has fixed my synching issues.
DeepOnion is not the only coin who faced those problems. I‘m not sure whats going on but its a bit weird.

We are doing a great job with PolisPay, we are at 1st place right now! Let´s keep voting, I´m sure we will win this free listing!

I wouldn't adhere to PolisPay, they have shown themselves as thieves of user support through brain washing you by the use of misleading articles on steem. How do they dare to collaborate with crypto projects, given that they don't use their own pay cards. Its been known that they favor Visa prepaid card over their own. And even after this leakage they keep touting useless polis card to newcomers.
I think you need to provide us with some tangible information to support your accusations. Anyone can cry scam, that doesn't make it true.
